The software STILL suffers from crashing and freezing requiring removal of the battery to reset (as advised by Nokia on their website).

Why don't you show us a video with a messaging app of your choice receiving messages while you type an email or play a game?

Seriously? Adding stored state — the main iPhone design pattern Apple pushes, and the single method we as developers have to compensate users for the lack of multitasking — finally adding this kind of stored state is heralded as the second coming, rather than at last making up for a major long-standing flaw? And yet AT&T cops s* for only now rolling out MMS.
Everybody knows that iPhone is so locked because the battery can't handle it and it overheats.

Might watch a photo slideshow while music plays and bring up the TRANSPARENT player controls on my MULTITASKING iPhone.
SEVENTY FIVE MILLION iPhone OS powered devices later and it just goes to show HOW WRONG self proclaimed experts can be.

Not even can you listen to internet radio (no it doesn't even have FM) while doing anything else since without multitasking any radio app shuts down when you try starting anything else.
Also iPad can't handle any multitasking either and it was just released so it's doubtful we'll such ancient technology in apple products this year.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970In terms of technology the symbian OS is far more advanced and there's also a nice comparison of what iPhone can and can't do - for example you can't use it as an USB device for storage but there are plenty of lockouts like having to bother with jailbraking and having to go two firmwares back, not beeeing able to update etc. You should check this out: http://tiny.cc/iPhone3GS_review as it probably tells you crearly why some people are defined as "haters".
Iphone has a stronger cpu but it's underclocked yet even so the battery barely lasts a day, see below...

All evidence pointing to a weak battery on the iphone!
With my N97 i dont even need a spare battery.Its very strong.I fm transmit in the morning,wi fi and phones with bluetooth thru the day and so on with lots of strength left by the time i get home.
