Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970"(Reuters) - Google Inc's initial sales of its Nexus One smartphone have significantly lagged the pace of Apple Inc's iPhone and Motorola Inc's Droid sales coming out of the starting gate, an analytics firm said on Tuesday.
According to a report by Flurry, Google sold roughly 135,000 of its new Nexus One phones in its first 74 days on the market. By contrast, Apple sold 1 million of the original iPhones in the first 74 days, while Motorola sold 1.05 million Droid phones -- which are based on Google's Android software -- during the same timeframe.
The sales estimates, which Flurry said it based on software applications featuring its analytics technology that have been downloaded to most of the phones, suggests a less than stellar start to Google's plan to play a larger role in the mobile phone business."

mongezi, 26 Mar 2010i would like to know why people love iphone so much? do u think those having iphone r happy? alot doesnt know how to use it n think this is super stupid branded n show off . they still not realize how stupid to hold that jurassic brick in hand. bcos other using cheaper phone r far more advance than that jurassic brick so to prevent been laugh ,those worshiper will keep on defending, actualy they r defending their face not that brick, bwaaaaaaaahahahahahaha

Seriously, comparing a Nokia N97 is like comparing a Hyundai Coupe (the N97) to a Ferrari (iPhone). Both are cars but leagues apart. The N97 may have more features but its overall experience is terrible. Just go to Google and type in N97 worst phone and so many people have commented on it. Type in the iPhone is the worst phone and the main focus is that crazy Cnet review.
Even a budget touchscreen like the Samsung Tocco Lite out does the Nokia N97 in overall user experience! Again features are one thing, if they fail to work most of the time and the phone is full of bugs, what good is that phone????

Apple is now accepting Apps for the iPad at a resolution of 1024x768 SHOWING THE SCALABILITY of iPhone OS Apps.
Two categories HD & XL.
Changing the iPhones screen resolution would not be a problem at all.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2010iphones battery cant even support a flash for the camera.Th... moreThe stupid N97 doesn't even support transparency on it's old fashioned Symbian OS, all the Nokia sheep say it's the best thing since sliced bread BUT Nokia keep bringing out updates to FIX PROBLEMS the Nokia sheep never admit to.
It freezes, the interface is HORRIBLE, doing anything with it IS A CHORE, you need to use a stick to poke the tiny, unresponsive controls.
It lags all over the place thanks to it's weak 434MHz ARM 7 processor and measly 128MB of RAM, a GRAPHICS chip doesn't even EXIST no wonder it LAGS SO MUCH.
Keep you Nokia junk, Nokia TOOK YOUR MONEY and are laughing all the way to the bank.

i am now deppressed as i took Nokia N97 hearing its a great phone...Now i understoodwhat i have done is one of the greatest mistake in my life.....iphone really Rocks....Wow Wat a Phone

iphones battery cant even support a flash for the camera.That would kill it.
Also iphone can never have better screen res like the N97, apples apps wont work at a better screen res.

What makes it worse is that we have that stupid iDont list floating about which people use to justify not having an iPhone. A pathetic list can be applied to any phone! Doh!!!!
The reason why many people love their iPhone is that it has the best touchscreen out of all mobiles, it has thousands and thousands of Apps, its so easy to use and the simplicity of the phone makes it a delight. Some features may be missing thats because they aint that relevant. The sales and popularity of the iPhone speaks for itself.
And those bashers who come here to slate the iPhone are simply trying to justify to themselves for not having an iPhone, when deep down they know the phone is without a shadow of doubt the best touchscreen phone out there!

40, 26 Mar 2010hi there... its about 1 month that i cant access to itunes... moreLogin in problems or just not loading up? If login you should contact Apple or check your password/username. Not loading up: Uninstall iTunes and re-install is. It might also be your Firewall blocking it so check your Firewall settings to see itunes has not been blocked.

Nokia clearly have a large selection of handsets for all price ranges, from the cheap handsets (which you have) to the high end stuff like the 8800 arte and N900. Apple have only had 3 handsets to date. Even the high end Nokia handsets fail to match the iPhone in user experience.
Anyway, thats the last I talk to you about phones as your clearly not an intelligent person lol Laters xxx :)
