its realy getting old. FB app very slow. its like taking my 90 year grandma fore a walk. But its cheap, whats app no problem, surfing internet whith wifi, no problem. But time is the greates enemy on all smartphone's so is on this one.

pittypotter, 22 Oct 2013how can i fix the battery if it runs out in a short period?You can change your battery . Changing of iphone 3gs phone battery is not a easy job so better ttake it to repair shop and get it replaced . though i would advice you , its a time to get new phone . Get a new battery will cost good amount around 30$ (atleast). Other thing you can do is disable location service and try not to use data alws .

ZACK ua mobile was dead if iphone is dead it doest show anything but u can get it back keep it aside for 1week n charge it get installed with the new ios then u can get back ua mobile

But the 3GS is outdated, it lacks functionality that one needs to get through a day on these times. I really don't think so i can have almost all the application running on it , though i know that it will not be updated in respect to OS .
It has a comparatively slow processor, has a very basic camera, even lacks flash. - it do have slow processor but you will never feel it , even 520 has no flash.
Nokia is nothing in comparison, but one must also remember that the 3GS was released four years ago. - it might go on for another 1 year at least.
Nokia has issue with OS where as 3gs it never has their OS are very much stable.
I am still continuing with 3gs would be 2.5 year now and i must tell nothing has really happened like i have not spent a penny for any repair or anything.
A person looking for should go for any phone that suits its day today task , acc to me phone with camera without flash is of no use. Nokia stoill have to make their OS stable or Microsoft has to keep it in line . I would opt for 620 or 625 , they would be better in choice than 520.

Nokia is nothing in comparison, but one must also remember that the 3GS was released four years ago. So, in keeping up with the times, I think an iphone higher in the line must be considered. If that is not feasible, the 520 is a pretty decent phone.
