Tansen, 21 Jan 2010FM radio is kind of useless given the huge amount of music ... moreWell Bluetooth is essential coz lets say if you were out having fun with friend and you take a video or snap some low quality photo on your iPhone and your friend would like a copy you could just transfer the file by bluetooth rather than using GPRS or wifi or connect to any network to just send by email. Bluetooth is instant file transfer from device to device directly.

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2010who on earth still listening to radio nowadays!!??! gosh!!To keep yourself updated with the stock and news like BBC or local news channels. Not everyone just listen to music alone. When I drive I would listen to the radio coz it give me traffic info and news as well.

Due to poor camera and unfashionable design. These countries and leaders in technology but why aren't they buying coz it's not up to standard yet.

FM radio is kind of useless given the huge amount of music and radio streaming apps on the internet, regardless of where you are. The truth is, the iphone has found huge success not because we are isheep and because its apple, but because it WORKS! If people needed bluetooth file transfer or FM radio or something, they would get another phone, but so few people need those things that sales depend mostly on user experience.

am thinking of getting this phone, just a quick question. Does it multitask? Ive used a 3g before and to go from one app to another you needed to go back to homescreen and pick app from there. Is the 3gs the same? Thanks.

Well first of all, if you really are, you would want to watch the game on tv, not on the radio. Second, the iphone has internet that would let you access real time updates and scores of the game. Third, if I am at work, I'd use a real radio to tune in the soccer game, not my phone, and when I am in my car, my car stereo. So as you can see, even if my phone has FM, I would still be using other devices for radio, not my phone. Now, I am not saying that it's not good to have FM on your phone, but what I'm trying to say is, it is not a big deal not to have it either.

I use the ra... moreThey don't broadcast English Soccer games on Australian radio so an Internet stream is the only option.
FM radio is useless to me the only time I'd use it is in my car which surprisingly enough has a radio built in, like almost every car built in the last 50 years.

I use the radio a lot, and i mean FM/AM. I'm a huge football (soccer) fan in the UK and a hell of a lot of football is broadcasted on the radio, and a lot of it isnt available via DAB or over the interet.
also, have you looked into how much of a drain internet radio is? fm must use a quarter of the power, and it's more reliable, no problems with running out of reception and stuff.
so i say keep the radio.

Why don't you get a clue, there are thousands of streaming Apps available on the App stores and plenty of smart radio station owners lining up to get on the iPhone platform because with over 30,000,000 users, that's where the money is.
