Working in a phone store I get to see all the different phones. The I Phone is probably the best device out there, its capabilities in terms of personalising and apps is second to none. I currently have an Lg Arena, which is ok, but playing with an I Phone means I am definitely getting one when I upgrade. They are way ahead.

I have tried using it just for basic stuff without internet and 3g, and it lasted me 2 days.

Depending on wifi is for wannabes who cannot really afford an iphone. If you're not getting unlimited data with your iphone, you're better off getting something else.

It's a simple fact of life, using all the features of a modern smartphone drains the battery.

Being on a plan means data is a lot cheaper.

Use WIFI or Bluetooth and its worse. The phone offers a lot but there is a price. The phone could use a higher capacity battery.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I disagree.Wi fi is also for people who buy unlocked phones,like an unlocked iphone,who don't want to pay high data charges for 3 years at 30 dollars a month separate from their voice plan just so they can get the iphone at 199.00.An unlocked iphone in Canada is probably about 650.00.

Any phone cam higher than 5MP are useless.
With higher resolution in your picture takin', the less free space remain in your phone. It looks like ppl don't keep it in mind nowadays.
As said before, a good part of pictures posted at social networks were taken by an iPhone.
Personally, i'm happy with my iPhone camera. It does it's part, and can handle with my usual needs.

aaa, 15 Dec 2009agree iphone is getting better when jailbrokenDude, you do know any jailbreak that allows you to get apps for a cheaper price or apps that aren't sold in the Apple Store are illegal. I jailbroke my iPod Touch and what I did was I got a cool theme, but yeah, it's sort of illegal.

Why some1 in good sense, would use an iPhone with WIFI?!

If you can afford an iPhone, u can also pay for a unlimited data plan.

Hey all! I want to let you know that I bought Nokia E52 and iPhone 3GS. Both are great and very capable. I've been using E52 for 2 months and now switched to iPhone. Do you know why? Seamless data 3G/Wi-Fi use, quick text using, copy-paste feature, stunning browser and the whole world of applications. Nokia has better battery (5x better really) and phone features are one-word *perfect*, better sound quality too! iPhone lacks this but somehow it's more fun using. One thing against iPhone is the email client which doesn't allow "mark all as read" hopefully this gets upgraded in the next update sooner than I grow beard.

...boring, no wonder the old dinasaur is slowly going down, all Nokia have done with their S60 phones since the N95 is put in less processing power(no more dual processors) and got rid of the graphics.
