Great phone! This was my first smartphone ever, I got it in December 2012 (they weren't that famous previously) and had it working well until late 2015.

hands down the best iPhone I have ever had, great battery life (I don't think I've ever seen the low battery screen since I got it) and still good enough for basic use in 2019

I got this phone in 2011. Prior to this I had used the LG Arena, BlackBerry Curve 8530, LG Viewty, BlackBerry Curve 8330, LG Viewty, Motorola RazR in that descending order. This was a fantastic phone! Surprisingly tough and smooth! Only problem was the home button did not work lol but I had no idea it had the touch support and was very impressed. At the time IM and Emails were not as good and the camera took somewhat good pictures but terrible video.
After the update to iOS 6 it became so sluggish. Would freeze a lot within apps. I ended up going for the BlackBerry Torch by the end of 2011. IM Emails and Multitask was flawless! Camera was surprisingly better than the iPhone and had flash also took pretty decent video! 3GS still holds a place in my heart to this day

Hi 👋 iPhone 3GS is ok 👍 I guess my old one was probably C+ condition I only stopped using that because it has iOS 6 and clash of clans changed to iOS 7+ sadly and the battery life was the worst I would charge it to 100% and 1 second later it was at 0% so I quit that phone and got a iPhone 4 it’s perfect

This is literally the best phone i have ever owned and bought it for university in 2010. It still works 8 years later, though it is slower with iOS 6.1.6, but on the best version of iOS which i believe to be iOS5, it was so fast and smooth with multitasking.

You sure still can watch YouTube videos and do Facebook from the “outdated” web browser just the quality might not be nearly as good as the current version
I thought this is common sense and everyone knows that

I like this little phone. Feels so simple yet gets most of the job done. Email works great, iMessage is still good. Older versions of BBM, KIK, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and a few other apps still work on this phone. Best part is the music player! Battery does not last as strong as the newer phones obviously haha

Macbeth, 01 Nov 2017"Reasonably priced"?! Apple was NEVER reasonably priced! Ev... moreI beg to differ, if you're talking about pre-1998 apple era, they really are something to consider. The $666 Apple I is really worthed in 1976, considering your other option of homecomputing would be an Altair 8800, cost less ($400-ish kit) but programmable via switchs, or the singleboard hobbyist KIM-1, which almost unusable unless you buy expansion
