Couldn't the same be said for all those applications you just mentioned? Because they're easily accessible through computer just as well.

Yeah, itunes is free...
Too bad most computers don't have it making your bluetoothless iphone an useless mp3 player with a useless 32gb storage.

Most of my apps a free, and they are very useful. To name a few of free apps that are useful, here's the following:
1. Truveo - HD video quality of YouTube videos.
2. WeDict - awesome dictionary app. It includes thesaurus, and even provides audio for proper pronunciation.
3. DirecTv - let's you check TV schedules, and, let's you record your TV shows to your dvr remotely.
4. Facebook
5. Google Earth
6. Epocrates - an app that shows drug information
7. PS mobile - photoshop for the iphone
8. Flash for iphone - brightens photos taken in dark conditions
9. Ffx - adds effects on pictures taken
10. Midomi - ID's songs
11. Barcode - let's you save all your discount cards in your iphone
12. Balance - let's you keep track of your expenses in a simple way
13. Yahoo Messenger
14. Skype
15. Wikiamo - wikipedia designed for the iphone
and there are more. And they're all free. Don't make a comment on things you know so little about. It makes you look really silly.

Video calling is common in the US on desktop computers, and it's the same with other countries. Companies would use computers for video calling, not smartphones. You like to video call your other half from another country? Use a desktop computer, don't be cheap. Local video call quality is poor, how much more video calling internationally. Video calling on cell phones does not even come close to desktop computers. It's not dependable, slow, erratic, low quality, etc. Proper video calling is via desktop computer. We here in the US can afford proper video calling devices, such as a real computer. We won't settle for low quality alternatives like cellphones, lol. Sorry but no cell phone can cut it on video calling. Unless of course you're a cheapo :)

The Japanese use it as much as we text and the Europeans use it often for business/office meetings. I actually prefer video calling as I'm away from home alot and nothing beats talking to my other half "face to face". SO to some people its very important. In the end it's a matter of life style that determines the phone a person chooses and to many the iphone just doesn't cut it.

The phone îs Greathill but batery really sucks. I have 3gs 32gigs. All the night stays at power And at noon îs empty. I will change it or buy a long wire ro keep it at charge all the Time
