They became number 1 because they cashed on the uneducated peeps. Same strategy like selling macs.

Hopefully, we won't be seeing in the near future ads like the mac vs pc ads.

It's only got 256MB of space to install applications, I've got 4.5GB of iPhone Apps, some of them run to 400MB+

At the moment Android just doesn't cut it for meeting my needs.

The ever increasing profits of apple as the user "P%nm" always advertises are nothing but advertisement themselves. Apple, as well as they might try to hide it, has very small anual profit rates forcing them to fire more than 10.000 employees every year!

So how come the sales of 3GS suddenly rocketed, while most users don't find the differences between 3G and 3GS as justifying the price? EASY! apple advertises fake income numbers so that naive users that buy fancy for popularity actually believe apple is a success... whereas the truth is the company barely keeps afloat fireing tens of thousands of people every year!

This is the information apple tries to hide from us all and it's a thing quite hard to find on the internet these days as is real feedback over their products.

After reading what I quoted above I think apple is going down again if microsoft doesn't help them once again.

It's slow & laggy, it has transition effets from a menu to another to hide that!

360 x 640 pixels, 3.2 inches is a right resolution/size ratio, 320 x 480 pixels, 3.5 inches is over stretched and pixelated.

LoL when iPhone crashes "those two buttons" don't work anymore. I once had do hard reset and loose all my data.

You have obviously not heard of the simplicity of using your phone as an usb sotorage device. what do you sync without iTunse???

There's no risk and there's no hackers, never had an issue neither on PC or on any othr phone with flash in my life. It's just a nice way for PCs and real smartphones to use webapps.

That's because you don't see the resebmlance between iPhone and a computer, because there is none. If you had smarthone, you knew.
Either way apple doesn't even make the coolest apps available on iStore!

Apps that are screensavers? What are you talking about? The iphone has thousands and thousands of apps, but I don't think they have screensaver apps. And what apps are you referring to that brings functionality to the iphone that other manufacturers give for free out of the box? Which phone has epocrates, directv, ups/fedex tracking, remote control, pedometer, dictionary, etc out of the box?

If reputable gadget magazines categorizes iphone to be a smartphone, who the hell are you to say otherwise?"

I'm not iphone user so I have a question about iphone~

Please if you have any idea write down below:)

1. I phone doesn't have a call/end Key on screen.
Don't you inconvenience or any idea?
(ex) when you are using apps you can't end at the same time cuz doesn't have end key... )

2. How do you think about Hold Key.
(ex) doesn't like the location or like simple ...)

Please I need your opinion~

I have been having a hard time cho... moreHaving used both Symbian and Iphone for years, and eventually the touch version of symbian, I have concluded that the iphone is far better. In terms of functionality, sure 5800 can do flash and send files over bluetooth, but be honest, when was the last time you've ever wanted to send a file over bluetooth? The truth is, file managers and obscure functionality like that only detracts from the experience of using the phone, which is something that people really SHOULD value more than anything. This is the perfect mixture of functionality AND simplicity, something other companies have never been able to get right.

I would spend hours trying to sync songs from my computer to my phone (symbian) and much of the time it would either upload to the wrong place or get corrupted. It was a nightmare. Itunes makes things simple and streamlined. Although some people say that Apple "cripples" us by not letting us send files over bluetooth, or letting us multitask stuff, they have reasons. In fact, before they released Iphone 3.0, they had done extensive testing of multitasking, and were able to prove that it reduced battery life by something like 70-80% on all other major phone OS's.

Anyways, enjoy your Iphone 3GS, you won't regret it :)
