i dnt know why so meny people hail the iphone this phone have so much bugs that most apps you download from app store dont even bloody work and theres no way to get your money back. apple what good is the apps if the iphone OS needs updateing every 5 min. ( bug fix my ass)

Apple clearly have a good marketing team, look how easily they suck in so many people with 'basic' features.
e.g. They have an entire advert telling people how you can now 'Copy & Paste' ... or an advert dedicated to video Recording.... both very basic functions for a phone/pda .... but you hear soo many "ooohs" & "aaaahs" like its some sort of innovative, break-through technology
I mean sure its a very good phone, fun and simple to use, but the iphone is so so so overrated

Was planning on getting one this weekend, however, Rogers (here in Canada) offers a very expensive contract on a minimum of three years. There's a one-time fee of $224.87 and a monthly fee of $67.58. My sisters in Switzerland only pay half of this monthly with only more than one hundred dollars one-time fee and a two-year contract. I decided to keep my Nokia 6301 instead with $15 monthly bill (under Fido, no contract) and just buy Ipod Touch 8G for $200. At least I will have no monthly bill for the use of Internet.

This is nothing compared to the Sony Ericsson S500i!
I met the head engineer of Sony Ericsson S500i and he was the most experienced person I ever met. He told me that NASA used this Phone last time they were in space. The Phone has an awsome camera, lamps on the side and a beautiful full-working keypad.
This is probably the best phone ever, ever made!

I just get a 3GS. May I ask how to transfer a movie file from computer to the 3GS and play on the 3GS. Is it feasible?

as u say apple is successful bcos of it simplicity, ok, even other brand like nokia low end model oso successful n not lag, even nokia low end phone procesor is far slower then iphone, so use yr brain, iphone is high tech onot ? accept it
nokia low end phone is far cheaper than iphone. so if u want a phone that is smooth, get a low end phone like iphone but expensive than those high end phone.
it is not iphone high tech n smooth, its the only its basic OS make it smoother , like someone say before , for nokia they just call it s40, far to be compare 2 nokia s60 SMARTPHONE, high tech n realy smart
