so b... moreFirst hold power and home button until apple logo comes. If it doesnt come than continue holding them for 20 seconds and than release and wait for devicee to boot up. make sure power adapter is connected maybe dead battery :)
Next u could try is putting device in dfu mode, hold the home button and power button for 10 than immediatly release power button and hold home button for 10 seconds-15 seconds. Than u will see a black screen (for ur case it was already there but this put the device in dfu mode). Now connect to itunes 11 and wait for device to get recongnised. Then itunes will say iphone detected in recovery mode restore needed. click restore.
Thats all i can think of but if i find something new then i will respond. Respond if these methods worked.

now press power bottun and home at same time
release power bottun,, itunes ill reconize your phone now restore the iphone and should work

gulab, 22 Jan 2013when i restart my iphone it stops on apple did not go forwa... moretry and reload the ios,it will surely work for u.mine had the same problem and i reloaded it and it worked for me
