I have had number of phones, including Nokia, SonyEricsson, Samsung and HTC. Now I just bought the new 3GS and I'm stunned how good the phone is. It now has MMS, video recording for quick videos, the things that should have already been on the original iPhone. Most of all i like the simple and fast OS. No lag and crappy little buttons like my old Tytn2/Kaiser which i still have and use it for work. Although the tytn is soon gonna be replaced by htc hero and touch pro 2 because i need a phone with a real keyboard and i wanna try the Android OS. I used the N97 for 1 week and it was a big disappointment. The crappy touchbased symbian is so bad, soolo bad. Returned it to the store and i'm never gonna walk the Nokia-road again. HTC and Apple is the way to go. Atleast that is where I'm headed

I pay ~700 euro (without any subscription) for a phone so it can NOT be able to sent MMS?!(to point just one issue) FTW!!?? I don't disagree with the fact that it is nice looking, bright displayed but C'MON!!! As I said: pay ~700 euros for not having a 6 years old function in it?!? LOL! it's hilarious! Anyway, you want to have a nice phone and PERIOD: buy iphone! And please STOP saying that it's a marvelous, amazing, unic, the best etc 'CAUSE it's NOT! wake up!

For all those out there that keep saying stupid comments about this phone or any other phone ....
you should understand that diversity was made to please all those different tastes!
we can't possibly all like the same exact thing
ppl have prefrences and thats why some go with nokia, while others stick with sony ericson and some go with apple!
at the end of the day just buy whatever makes you happy and don't judge what others think, have or want!!!

LOL! Please think before you write something... If you don't have enough money to by Apple iPhone 3GS save some money for this one, instead of buying crappy phones every 3 months.

a must have handset, all in one (games, movie, music, appilications), never bored, always have something on the handset to keep you busy. so one of the best handsets out there

600mhz pc and 256mb ram,, just ever wonder why multitasking is absent! when u have such wonderfull os and hundreds of great apps apple should aim for the best and not release features like mms, video recording and multitasking drop by drop! only if apple increased the screen resolution and allowed multi-tasking would it have been the best, and i don't think that is hard for them!

How many pages of apps can 3gs support? Read somewhere it's limited 2 11 pages. Anyway 2 increase its capacity? Tia!

iphone cpu speed 600 mhz, my omnia cpu speed, 624 mhz, nd da omnia is like 2 years old, iphone = fail
iphone is faster because standard apps on it dat u wud find on a normal phone dont exist, wat i mean is the os dont have alot of apps built in,
where as winmo does have alot built in,
iphone battery life pathetic, iphone = fail again
use ur head before u gt into a 2 year contract ppl, also iphone fanboys no offence bt seriosly luk at other phones properly, nd u wud realise apple is ripping u off big tym, dnt gt wowed by stupid apps, der r millions for symbian and windows mobile, browse da net nd find dem, apple iphone= fail once again :D

iphones os is fast because, its barely got anyting on it, also the themes all they do is cover da on screen buttons, bt da button is infact stil der jus hidden, u cnt compare themes of iphone with, other phones wich actually change da interface, iphone themes r crap,

Lithium ion batteries are the same as used in all phones and laptops, there's no difference in the ones Apple uses.
They are a high profile company everything they do is newsworthy.

I remember just 3-4 years ago they had similar problem with their laptops, catching fire, exploding,...
Apple is a good manufacturer but they use crap batteries in their products
