mark, 19 Aug 2009You want to say apple iphone is better than htc touch HD! y... moreread microsofts own statement about windows mobile and come back and talk i know u dont know what your talking about since there has been windows 6.0 and now .5 !! they are trying to make the interface far more friendly go on coolsmartphone.com and read all on there a fair website which has even started a iphone one as well because of the popularity of it and quality of the handset. im not saying your wrong about the hd specs your right but apples intuitive interface more powerful 3gs specs and the apps you get are far better

You bought iphone , I am not saying to regret the decision but at least don’t be in the scenario where you will say regardless of anything that iphone is better! That’s wrong! Now you will say I am talking like this because I can’t afford iphone n etc. Then go and check the price of htc touch HD. Compare each and every features of HD to iphone then come back and write comments. Windows mobile is proven good. Compare the users of both, starting of Windows 5 it is now going towards Windows 7. Through these years Microsoft did too much R & D and result is there.

      Anonymous, 19 Aug 2009Too much marketing tactics by apple, by putting 3g in the s... morelol love the reference to windows mob there if you read even windows mobile fansites of which i may add i am a member of a few forums there people are yes like what you can do with windows as well but however they all agree how wful the interface is which is why all the htc phones have touchflo etc trying to cover most of it up so cant agree with you on that however whilst i have an iphone doesnt mean i agree with the pricing but i would expect to pay a fair amount for it since it is well constructed compared to most phones i mean if we are goping to go on about phones what about the high n97 return rate and also the awful figure of 65% returns on c905 at one point?but £75 a month to a nineteen yr old unless his bills were that high previously io wouldnt have referred him to that tariff

          Now i work for a phone shop and we cannot get enough iphones to sell as they are going so fast also i understand there will always be faulty handsets but i have not myself seen any for overheating nor has the competitor over the road from me not to say that they dont but i dont think the problem is as big as people say besides how often do you see people who dont have a complain go online and say good things your more likely to dis a phone than praise it and ive had an htc touch hd and nokia n series phones and love the n series but like my iphone much more and also talking about returns the n97 has been TERRIBLE for returns

                      Too much marketing tactics by apple, by putting 3g in the same phone they are selling now for twice a cost. Creating scarcity, so people thinks it’s selling fast and without thinking for a movement buys the contracts. Yesterday one of my friends son, who is just 19 bought this phone on £75 pm contract with O2. Jobless teenagers getting mad due to media and showing off. There are plenty smart phones out there ,you can buy them under £150 with windows mobile 6.1 pro, and don’t tell me in any way apples OS can beat Microsoft mobile, no way.

                        can't copy and paste msgs, camera is poor with no autofocus or flash, too cheap looking plastic built,no bluetooth ,no key pad so fast typing like bb phones is out of question. and it is teenagers phone

                          too many bad reviews for iphone 3gs, overheating issue is real I think, I tried in the shop and it got hot within 10 minutes. Touchscreen not working properly eard that for the first time to be honest.

                          But Apple was cheap this time to make only small upgrade by hoping to make more money. Greediness will turn to them. And also I hate the way they play with sutomers by keeping stocks low, so people are more deseperate to get an iphone and then find out it overheats and is really a downgrade froim the 3g which is an ok device for the time it came out.

                          I was plannig to buy this year an iphone, but not with a downgraded device, also I refuse to finance their greediness. See you next year Apple, maybe you will have real good device by then.

                              hi i need help. i bought this phone on contract O2. it is getting too hot after talking for 10-15 mins. touch screen is not some how proper and this phone is bit dificult to use with one hand. applications are ok though, but for every application you need to pay money at the end it costs too much. i went back to replace it here in London, they said this problem is common and they can repair only, which will take 4 weeks. :(

                                Don't just take my word for it a group of antenna researchers found that there was no difference between the iPhone, N73 and P1 in laboratory tests.

                                      and i know the phone's operating system has the potential to multitask, thus it having the potential to be a smartphone, but apple havent enabled it, so it isnt a smartphone

                                      and yeah i know you can use the music player in the background, but having one application you can minimize isnt a god enough excuse for multitasking ahah!

                                        i'ts an terrible phone my partners not long had hers and it keeps over heating, when she phoned to get it replaced they said that more are being sent back than are going out so the would replace it with the old version that was reconditioned!!! Not happy at all!
