i just got mine for a couple of days now, and i don't understand what the fuss about the improved speed is all about... why am i saying that...? because i have an iPod touch 2nd gen and they're practically the same speedwise. i'm not seeing a difference so far... what i'm saying is that either the iPod is better than the iPhone, or the past iPhones were sluggish... and i mean real sluggish... wha'eva... it's a good phone, anyway, but i thought it would beat the crap out of my iPod, but it was otherwise...

Anyone heard of this or has had this happen top them?

Iphone is a good phone but it all depends on how you define "good". To many, iphone may be a piece of crap...to some it is the phone of the century...but it all depends on how you want to use it. If you can't afford a phone with a price tag like the iphone then go buy nice cheaper ones...just don't expect it to provide you with the same user experience.

There are china phones that they brand as iphone...try that and see if you still complain about the apple ihone's price tag lol. I'm using a high-end phone too but i'm not complaining about the price i bought it for.

Jrf, 06 Aug 2009Thanks for your comment! I dont think Brenda is crazy, she'... moreorry if you didn't like my comment on the iphone being a phone only for those who can afford it. But really, it's true. I was only being blunt about it because it's annoying reading comments by some people putting down the iphone because of its price tag, data plan, itunes and apps. It is true that the iphone is a high maintenance phone and that not everyone can afford it. The iphone is really aimed for mid to high income earners. People who will not complain of data plans and having to pay for music and apps

Ramin, 06 Aug 2009This phone doesn't support office (Word, Power point, ...).... moreI have no problems viewing Word and Excel attachments on my iphone. I just can't edit them. I'm not sure if there's a way around that, or if there is an app that would let you edit Word and Excel files on your iphone. But I guess if editing Word and Excel files using your phone is a must for you, you need to look more into winmo devices. As for me, it's not that important as long as I can view them, I'm fine. I remember when I had the Treo, it was able to edit Word and Excel files, but I really seldom to none edit files if ever I get them, but I did maybe once or twice, and it's a pain, especially on Excel files. I guess I'm just used to working Word and Excel files on a desktop computer or my laptop.

Raymond, 06 Aug 2009price is expensive ..oh my god..I don't get why people complain about the price. All smartphones here in Australia are around the same price as the iPhone, give or take $100/$200. If you want the features be prepared to pay for them, otherwise go get yourself a Nokia 1650

yako, 06 Aug 2009I am gamer freak, anyone can tell which phone i should buy ... moreFor games, wow! That's a tough one. The graphics are awesome on the iPod touch that I have and should be a hell of a lot better on the iPhone 3gs. But in my opinion, you should look for something with a physical pad. Its up to you to decide what is more important: graphics or control. I would recommend a nokia with ngage as the games are good, and you have a physical pad. I use my iPod becuase it looks better but when I'm playing Resident Evil for example, my thumb slides off and the guy stops moving in the game. But the graphics look a little better than on the n95. And the 3gs has a better chip for that. But like I said, it is up to you to decide between touch and physical controls.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Thanks for your comment! I dont think Brenda is crazy, she's just doing what everyone else does, every one is entitled to an opinion. Some people take it too far though. I really dont like her comments on how only people with enough money should have the iPhone. But again I see she's just trying to defend her point of view. I personally dont think any phone is the best, there's always something that one has and another doesn't. I think people should concentrate more on the topic instead of fighting eachother. Hope you can find a phone that suits you!

Who should buy iphone and who should not buy!!!
                                      In my opinion:
                                      > You should buy iphone if you want to jailbreak(hack)the iphone so you can down load thousand free apps and themes from Cydia, appulous. you can change the iphone as the way you want to.
                                      > If you dont want to jailbreak the phone, don't buy it... you cant not change anything or adding anything without paying.
