Ususally people go camping to get away from the creature comforts of our home to experience something different. You make no sense. I understand why you are so into the iphone now. You are a mac fan, which is fine but no good for me and many others out there who use windows. I just won't take your biased advice in the future.

Brenda, 31 Jul 2009Haven't you heard of metaphors. I used the car example to ... moreHello Brenda,

I am not here to start a fight as this forums seems to be on the lines of a warfare against every differnet type of phone user....

In response to what you ahve said the iphone has changed the way people operate in society and also set the bench mark for all other maunfacturers out there. constantly i am seeing new phones land instore with features that try to mimick what the iphone does. but still in my professional opinion none match it, as of yet.

what has the iphone done to make life easy?
a study has been done in australia that shows people are working more but not as hard, further research shows that it was because of their mobile device (iphone) some of the apps and features of this device is something that helps out buisness people. the fact that you can download fun apps means one thing only apple is smart. how many different types of consumers are there?

all this talk of what the phone does and doesnt do and how crap it is. why not show some real approach on the subject?
the ihpone is the biggest selling handset on the market, why? populatiry, funcionality, and looks.

Its a revolution of a new generation, this phone gets both the old and the young in to buy. its probably the smartest device i have seen.

nokia users will stay nokia for life, that is a fact, you will never get them to convert and they just knock every other phone on the market. FACT

as far as samsung goes, they are a good phone, but still yet to see one that stands its ground and makes people go i want that over the iphone.

blackberry, a phone built to do a job and it does it well. not the stom the bold. but still lacking in the touch generation.

windows, too much hassle to use, more for the computer minded people. the possibilities of what you can do is endless. but if you dont know what or how to do it then....

ericsson, haha still a world behind.

moto, i think they are going to fall off the market soon if they dont lift their game.

but anyway thats only my opinion. dont give me crap about it. i dont care i am only after other opinions and facts.

this was written by a non iphone user, rather a phone dealer.

                    have a good day guys

Dani, 31 Jul 2009It's awesome that, there's that but there's loads of Apps w... moretv shows and movies can also be dowloaded to an n95 and live tv can be watched from an n96.

the n95 can even sync with a mac computer.

i can't wait for the omnia to hit the US market.

I am very aware of touchscreen phones before the iphone. apple only enhanced the touchscreen interface.
the samsung omnia came out before the iphone 3gs which is superior than any of the iphones.

the apple store sucks. you still got to purchase applications. most are useless for my needs.

as i have said many times i owned an iphone before but was not satisfied.

in conclusion, with the 3g-s the iphone is catching up.

It's nice that we can download tv shows and movies to our iphone. But I'd still rather watch tv shows and movies on a big screen. The only time i would consider that option is maybe when i go camping for a week or something, but even then, I may still take my MacBookPro with me.

I would say Palm and HTC or even LG paved the way to touchscreen, but never the N series phones, lol. Multimedia on phones were bound to happen with or without Nokia. But this I would tell you. Apple paved the way to effective integration of services, app store and full touchscreen phones. Apple started that trend, NOT Nokia.
