the phone is war hero..... drops hits under the belt..... he stand proudly without fear....
since 4 august 2009
i am proud that phone was made and i make the wise choice back then.

This phone still works! It's not as fast as its other iOS brothers but it gets the job done. Very tough phone and yes I agree the 4s build was week mine only last about a year and one drop caused it to disintegrate within months even losing the camera the buttons became stuck the glass cracked off completely. The 5s is another tough little phone but dents too easily

Still on this phone! Upgrading for christmas though thank god. it's slowly falling apart, the touchscreen keeps on glitching, i can't text anymore and the battery lasts 1 hour. I'm moving onto a moto g4 if anyone's interested :)

possibly the fastest and the most durable iPhone to date, even if it has a plastic back... it withstands falls greater than any newer iPhones in the lineup
the iPhone 4/4S were given a rear glass casing, and the dropped calls issue due to antenna problems... durability made a downfall after this series continued
the iPhone 5/5S/5C/SE were using the 4's form factor apart from a lengthened body and thinner structure, antenna reception was fixed... durability suffered more as this goes on
the iPhone 6/S/Plus/S Plus were still using the 4's form factor, but with a extremely dangerously thin structure with a flattened look... lots of problems after this series
the iPhone 7 i do not know much, but its safe to conclude that the iPhone 3GS was the most durable phone i've owned... suffering from falls and water spills, it still continued happily somehow

Upgrade iPhone 3g???, 29 Oct 2016I'm thinking of upgrading my 2008 iPhone 3g to the later 20... moreNot by much.. but you WILL get double the RAM. and the camera is upped by 1 MP. as well as more updated OS. (that is. if you can still find the desired device.)
