You said that you are looking for a phone that can transfer songs via bt and has fm. Everyone knows for a FACT that the iphone does not have those two features. So it's like you're considering a coupe and then tell the dealership that you would only get a coupe when it would have four doors, lol. As for windows and iphone compatibility. Why do yo need them to be compatible? Can you tell us why? You have a cruisy job? People who have cruisy jobs bring their laptops with them. Don't you think i's better to watch those tv shows on your laptop than on any phone? You're not making sense. I travel as well, and I always take my laptop with me to watch my favorite dvd movies. As for my fav tv shows, i have what we call dvr's. So i can watch it on my return comfortably and enjoyably on my big screen flat tv.

The 3.0 or 4.0 or even in coming year software is still buggy and unstable (presumably fixed with the latest 3.01 firmware)
Screen auto rotation is slower than on the iPhone 3G (presumably fixed with the latest 3.01 firmware)
Limited copy/paste functionality
Limited landscape QWERTY keyboard except in the web browser
No vibration feedback when typing
No advanced XT9 typing
Still no option for turning Predictive typing OFF
NO and YES, NO NO multi tasking (Apple background notification service is in the works to remedy that one)
Numerous messaging features lacking: limited MMS, no SMS forwarding (might be solved by a system-wide copy/paste functionality), no deleting individual messages
Numerous email features lacking: no bulk "mark as read", no search, no sorting of any kind, no ZIP or RAR support in mail, can't send full resolution camera images via mail (they get resized to 800x600)
No call duration recorded in the Calls Log
Weird snooze appointments and cannot set repetitive alerts for reminders
No search in the iPod music library
Sucky video recording
Limited voice dialing
No Bluetooth file transfer or oh YES, NO NO stereo Bluetooth music streaming
No GPS navigation software (TRUE Turn by Turn like a dedicated GPS device)
No FM radio
Long and tedious back up upon sync with CRAPPY iTunes (presumably fixed with the latest 2.01 firmware)
No syncing of Notes and TO-DOs...OH and getting WORSE!
and....
No video calls over the 3G network
The handset wobbles on hard even surfaces
There are a number of messaging downers
Camera has no auto focus, nor video recording… nor any settings at all
Safari browser doesn't support Flash and Java, doesn't have a download manager
Bluetooth support limited to headset use only (no A2DP or file transfers)
No office document editor
No copy/paste functionality
You cannot sync Notes and TO-DOs
No memory card slot (but knowing Apple there will never be one)

RLMAO listen: if Samsung and other vendors dropped the ball on Apple then there would be NO crappy iphone 1, 2 or whatever the heck that is. ur such a kid running ur stupid mouth. All Apple got now is an easy to use phone for most teenages or non business people who is afraid to hack and tweak their phones to max potential, unlike windows mobile users who are very good programmers that can turn ANY winmo phones into either android or a little PC that can do multi tasking.
Ask ANY iphone users (I personally know some) if they can run youtube (again not a full desktop like version like us in winmo OS) AND navigating with turn by turn GPS AND talking on the phone AND...the limits are endless with faster and more powerful CPU and RAM.

so NOW it is so OBVIOUS that iphone is CATCHING UP with other "smart" phones by FINALLY having a simple 10 yrs old copy n paste, LOL, PATHETIC! ok go on what else that iphone is CATCHING UP with 3xxx version, oops, not stupid porn apps from 50k apps, number means NOTHING because MOST OF THEM are JUNKS! iphone IS ONLY good for gaming punks, GET A LIFE!

no flash in browser
overheating
camera is pants
video recording is poor
no bluetooth file transfer

Apple is AMAZING!!! I love it so so much. I got it about 1 month ago and I fell in love with it right away. The new keypad is even more amazing I love it a lot. I still cant beleive that i have it is amazing.

people come here to read and speak about iPhone 3GS, not your childish arguments about hating Nokia, SE, iPhone, Samsung or whatever...
Regarding iPhone 3GS, so far so good... no overheating, no any problems for me - much faster then 3G, battery life a bit better then 3G.
Who says that iPhone is expensive?
OK, let's see, I paid £400, but I get 12 months of free web and wifi with "iPhone P&G Simcard", also I get access to numerous applications, games, and other fun stuff... so the actual price drops let's say by half.
So why I shouldn't pay £200 for almost perfect UI and web browser, almost perfect **capacitive** screen, 16GB memory and so on...? By saying almost perfect I mean that of course it could be better but anyway there are no better in the market as for now. Honestly, I don't see a better option for me at the moment... maybe because my main requiremnets for the phone are 3.5 - 4 inch *capacitive* screen, good UI and web browser... and iPhone has much more then this:)

In my country you have to order the 3gs. You have to wait 8 weeks before you get one, in europe unbelievable. Crazy.

iphones they all look the same, isnt it time to change their appearance? look at motorola now..their razr was a hit a few years ago...they didnt change its appearance..only upgrades...people got tired of it.
