Apple needs to get a clue, we love your iPhone but it seems that mac needs someone to tell them MAKE A PHONE TAKES ADVANTAGE MORE OF TODAYS COMMONLY SHARED FEATURE SUCH AS VIDEO CALLING HENCE A SECOND VIDEO CALL CAMERA. Apple dnt get me wrong we appreciate your industry leading innovations but leave off those little features that still connect us with friends, like the ability to share ring tones with all friends

tvoung, 23 Jun 2009Next iPhone advert is
(voiceover)
hey we thought about p... morevery clever..and partly true.
But honestly, who really uses video calling. I have studio quality videoconferencing equipment at work and it is still just too distracting to use. the quality would be downright irritating on a mobile phone.
stick with the real shortcomings, not the invented ones

Next iPhone advert is
(voiceover)
hey we thought about putting a 12 megapixel camera into our phone with a xenon flash
(cut to picture of bulky elvis iphone)
but our customers would not like that.
(voiceover)
we also thought about doing a removable battery
(cut to someone digging about for a spare and changing) but our customers would not like that.
(voiceover)
we also thought how many people have you seen doing a video call today
(cut to dusty street with tumbleweed)
but most our customers would not use that.
(fade to white + writing)
Just simple sensible features.
Iphone making like easy one step at a time.

Shafique, 22 Jun 2009 when writing an Email on the 3GS, can you add attachments... moreTo add pictures and videos to an email you have to start off in the picture and video viewer (it is called the camera roll on the phone), there is an icon to press that lets you add the video or photo to and email. however if you already started an email, there is no add attachment button, you have to copy and paste the photo. I found this to only work with photos not videos

Masum/Bangladesh, 22 Jun 2009I have 3G.I didnt get 3gs yet.I want to know more.I personally feel that the Iphone 3GS is a huge upgrade indeed. The upgrade in speed is immediately noticeable and voice control is very VERY cool and useful (I drive alot so it helps not to look away from road). the upgrades storage capacities give you easily enough for weeks of music and tons of movies, not to mention the higer-res pictures you'll be taking.
Video recording is very good quality and the pictures themselves are noticeably better than on the 3G and original iphone. The pictures taken in dark are better too thanks to camera software upgrades.
If you have a 3G, it might be worth your while to upgrade since you could sell your 3G for like 200-250 bucks, more or less. I sold my 3G to my friend for 100 bucks and then got the new one for 200 with contract. I'd say it was a pretty good deal.

I have my shiny new Iphone 3gS in white. First impressions? Well i was an ipod touch user so i am pretty familar to the app store and how the O.S works. I did have a Samsung Omnia HD i8910 but was less than impressed with the lack of bespoke applications for the phone. The Iphone is class above any other handset when it comes to ease of use and functionality. Instead of having to use the annoying web browser's, i now have apps specific for the likes of Facebook, MSN, Hotmail and Twitter.
Those who slate it? Well i understand why. On paper the spec is years behind its competitors. But spend a day with the Iphone and you will see what the fuss is about.
I think most people love to hate it because its made by Apple!
