I just dont understand, that y i-phone has included the feature of FM(Radio) in its instrument.
i m from India and so far as India is concerned, Radio is one of the most common feature in cell-phones and is necessary not for entertainment but for Businesses also , as it provides latest news and is the fastest growing media....
Can any 1 tell , that is thr any application which can b used in i-phone to run radio...

iPhone is the best quality hand phone, but the softwares provided can't be compared with other brand phones, such as Nokia, Sumsung, Sony Ericsson, LG etc....

i have bought it from UK. but it is not working while i am in pakistan as i have to use it only in pakistan. is there some thing to rectified the problem.

I did and it came up with a message your iPhone is unlocked, I can put any SIM I want in it, it has never been jailbroken and after updates it stays unlocked.
I guess that's because Apple unlocked it.
There are quite a few countries where iPhones can be officially unlocked, so never say never.

I don't rate this ! I'm not dissing it but compared to the competition it is such a disappointent (I work for Apple)and next years model should have come out this year (that is all I am allowed to say about 2010). This model is not worth upgrading to, if you're not already an iphone user. Unlocking is not recommended anyway since a/ it voids the guarantee b/ the latest will NOT install and run correctly. Don't say I didn't warn you!

I think the iPhone 3G S will be a sweet deal. The phone is not perfect, but show me a phone that is. I think most people get hung up on what the iPhone 3G S is missing, rather than to focus on what it in fact has to offer. The ease of use is one of the major selling points as far as I'm concerned. Maybe it's time to give Apple some of my money... :)

cristian, 10 Jun 2009it's a very expensive toy... iphone 3G 16GB is 250U$S max ... morefor all people saying thats the iphone price in usa is around 200$ and expensive in other countries its not true u can get it for very low price only when u sign for a contract for 2 years u pay first time fee around 200$ for the phone and around 100$ for the plan u choose and monthly like 75$ 100$ depends on ur plan and its sim locked cannot use with other operaters if u want buy it factory unlocked will cost u around 700$ .

The "3G" in iPhone 3G does not stand for "3rd Generation".
It simply means that the phone can be used on a high speed network connection, referred to as HSDPA or 3G. The first iPhone model can only be used on a GSM network (2G).

3G is the network it works on, the s is for speed.

ITs not out yet and some surprises will happen,,vga video straight off it pretty good its flattened s/e in one swoop..It is expensive but still a quality device..
