hi guys,
Can someone Plz tell me sal i go with iphone 3gs with 8Gb inbuilt memory. plan to buy for 13000 in Aircel Scheme.. Can Someone Explain its PRONS AND CONS coz its a BIG amount for me i mean VERY BIG.
Please give yours suggestion for me guys its VERY VALUABLE for me...

Is App store comes with free application in Iphone 3GS?. I was informed there are few free apps available and most of them are in paid category?. Can anybody enlighten as i am planning to go for this Iphone 3GS.

Just bought the iPhone 3Gs with IOS 5.1.1 for my second line. My primary phone is still my Samsung Galaxy S (Android), but the iPhone 3Gs was too good to pass given it's price range especially since I will be using it for my secondary line. Prior to this, my secondary line was an LG Optimus One (Android Phone). To be honest, I am quite impressed with the iPhone 3Gs given its old hardware. Even with the slow clock speed of the CPU, the phone is very responsive. Of course the 3G (HSDPA) is not match with my Samsung Galaxy S but given that the coverage for my secondary line is almost always just HSPDA I don't feel the difference.
The IOS 5 really made the phone that much appealing to me. It has almost all the features loaded in iPhone 4S (minus Siri and FaceTime support). Otherwise, it is exactly the same, albeit a bit slower compared to the iPhone 4S.
Android will still be tops for me given the flexibility that I can do with the Android (all the apps available). But the iPhone 3Gs is a better choice if you are contemplating on buying a cheaper Android phone (LG, Alcatel, etc.) If you buy and Adroid phone within the same price range, you will more likely get a phone with almost the same clock speed, poor build quality and poor performace. So it is better to opt for the iPhone 3Gs.

You can do number portability or could change that postpaid sim to prepaid one after 6 months if not then you would start getting 499 monthly bill minimum

And the best news is that the phone is already unlocked, that means, right after purchasing the phone, we can use any operator'sim. 5 out of 5 for his buy.

its competent to upgrade IOS 3 to IOS 5 rite....So all the application which is available in IOS 5 not in IOS 3,eg SIRI,FACE TIME etc will be compatable to use in the same 3GS Device.
