Actually, i struggled a lot too with this issue, so i decided to contact apple directly while my iphone 3gs was plugged to my laptop, they ran diagnostic and they said you have to go directly to the network provider for them to unlock it, in my case, its at&t, so of course, you have to pay, but its the only way to unlock these phones and to reset or restore your iphone, just plug it into your computer and click on the itunes icon and follow the steps, it does work, it just wont be unlocked you have to take it directly to your service provider that your iphone is locked to, hope this helps you. Good day.

If you want to transfer photos to your iPhone.. I recommend setting up Dropbox or Box and transfering it that way. Some music and video files are not supported by iOS.

We can upgrade iphone 3gs from ios3 to ios6 and install wahtsapp.
