Unknown, 26 Jul 2012I use about 1 year half then my home button not so responsiveIs your iPhone 4 still under warranty (that is, if you bought Apple Care for two more years of warranty coverage giving you a total of three years)?
If it is still under warranty, you can bring that to your local Apple Store and get it swapped for another one and say 'hardware fault' as the main reason for the exchange.
If not, then either you pay Apple for another one (just a third of the price, if I'm not mistaken) or get it fixed by another shop of your choice.

SBMG, 23 Jul 2012guys how's your iPhone 4 now? does it smoothly play all you... moreIt all truly depends on how much you are willing to spend.
IMO, the price of a particular model of the new iPhone (i.e. 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB if things stay the same) would not be far from that of the 4S when it first came out. If you think you already have enough, or you still have enough time to save up for one before it comes out then by all means get the iPhone 5.
If you want to save money then get a new or used iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 which are still less than a year old to take full advantage of the warranty. Under certain ciscumstances, you could have an iPhone that had not gone past its warranty swapped for a "new" one by Apple themselves. I say "new" as the replacement unit that would be given to you would likely be a refurbished one, although new internal and/or external components have been put in to make it looking practically as new as possible. Anyway, refurbished units still have to pass through Apple's quality control.
Whatever iPhone you choose, be it new or used, I would advise for you to get a SIM-free phone. You can always get new and SIM-free iPhones fro your local Apple Store. If you go for a used phone, find one that has already been officially unlocked by Apple themselves, or get the seller to do that for you without having to use Gevey SIMs or to jailbreak the iPhone. I have nothing against Gevey SIMs or jailbreaking, but nothing compares to the peace of mind that a SIM-free or officially unlocked iPhone brings.

guys how's your iPhone 4 now? does it smoothly play all your apps, games specially the latest ones without any lags or crashes? because I might get one, the 32gb version.
My iPod touch is broken. I want a new iPod then I need a phone ( some Sc*mbag stole my One S ), so I am thinking of putting it altogether to an iPhone.
so which is much better? wait for the iPhone 5 for the 4s to have a mark-down at its market price or get iPhone 4 ASAP ?
help me make a decision that I won't have any major regrets because it's gonna be my first iPhone.. tired of android
reply ASAP, thanks.

Arjun, 21 Jul 2012Face time is not free service in some country.....plz check... moreNo, I don't agree that in some countries you have to pay in order to do Facetime... Not at this moment at least. When the iPhone 4 came out and introduced Facetime, you could only do that via a WiFi connection either at home or elsewhere. That still holds today with both iPhones 4 and 4S.
When iOS6 comes out later this year, that update will finally allow both iPhones to do Facetime via 3G networks. Only then would we have to pay to do Facetime, as accessing such a service via 3G may be at a premium cost with some networks. Even I myself am confused: would Facetime over 3G eat up voice call minutes (like in doing video calls through any other smartphone), or would it eat up mobile data?
But then again I don't see Apple removing Facetime via WiFi with iOS6 so IMHO you still have that option to do it for free.
