Apple is becoming more like Microsoft. They don't compete, they sue and of course be sued. That is where the similarity ends. Very dissappointing.

sunger 3, 27 Sep 2011Guys latest new is that the iphone 5 is going to be the fir... moreIf thats true then Apple must be going with EEPROM chip and doing away with sim card altogether..This has been talked about so there is no sim card slot (saving more space)in iphone 5..The eeprom chip is activated when you plug it into itunes or over the air.
Just so you dont have to look it up the "Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory "chip stores all the sim info in something a 100 times smaller than a simcrd with slot and fittings..In other words adapting EEPROM saves a huge amount of space inside the iphone5 technically speaking from a design point of view and where space is at a premium.
This could be all untrue and its for new iphone6 with curved glass and A6 chip next year...Anyhow i have come from an apple hater to lover and excited at new iphone release,,even if i am on my own..

Only with facetime you can only use with wifi but if you download skype or whatever then you can with a data plan

Ofcourse you can skype. Via 3g and wifi. Just download it from the app store
