I have been using my iPhone 4 since February 2011. Seems to me that apple should be working on fixing all of the major glitches on their current products (and there are ALOT of glitches) rather than continually coming up with newer products. I will never ever again purchase another iPhone. It's partially my fault for not looking up user reviews before buying my iPhone. Had I done that, I would have seen a ton of negative comments, but I suppose I trusted the AT&T employee who talked me into buying one. It is very inconvenient to have to go into an AT&T or apple store for upgrades that do not even help the problems that I am having with the phone. Also, apple charges for tech support!! Can you believe that?????? What kind of customer service is THAT?

I'll start by saying I haven't used an IPhone for day to day needs. Based strictly on the hardware specs, the galaxy s 2 beats the Iphone 4 (dual core 1.2ghz vs 1ghz) and (1gb ram vs 512mb ram); however, the Iphone 5 specs could be much stronger.
I, for one, am waiting for t-mobile GALAXY S2, which seems to be the cream of the crop spec wise. I just hope it doesn't get buggy network interaction...we'll see.
To balance this, IOS, is a much more mature operating system than Android and I prefer it (based on my usage of an Ipad 1).
My hope is that the Galaxy S2 will be upgradeable to Android 4 when it releases (rumored Novemberish).

i can't believe that they call this a smart phone when it can not send anything via bluetooth. and has no capabilities of usb on the go.. what an over-rated well marketed device that offers nothing but speed. a very limited device that this should not be considered a smart phone. their website is also over rated...
claiming it as the best in the world but looking at the ratings here in gsm arena, the scores doesn't even reached to an the 8 mark... poor featured but speedy device is not a smart device. this is a toy phone not a smart phone since it has many restrictions. not a stand alone device (it needs a computer to sync everything from music to photos and videos).
a very expensive toy i should say... lame device. only shows your social status..

However, I suggest that before you purchase the Iphone 5, check first your current apps and expected apps will be run more efficiently by Iphone 5. Increasing the cpu speed, screen size, resolution, and appearance of iphone 5 are just cosmetic appeal for a practical user of iphone 4. The point is your iphone 4 can still perform very well for at least for 2 years side by side with Iphone 5. Wait for the big jump in Iphone's technology before buying a new release of iphone.

Before I bought the iPhone 4, I owned a Palm Pre Plus...so I'm comparing iPhone to webos.
Things I like about this phone: lots of apps to choose from and most apps are quality apps. The screen has real good resolution and shows high def. Videos. The folder feature is handy. I also like the fact that the phone has multiple languages that are supported.
Things I don't like: the phone is not very ergonomically designed. Without iTunes, the phone is unusable (I've never used iTunes before getting this phone). The phone can't be used as a mass storage, and can't access music/videos without using iTunes. A lot of restrictions on data usage...my opinion is that if I pay for data, I should be able to use it how ever I want (to an extent). Without wifi, functions like FaceTime, hd YouTube videos are disabled. No synergy for contacts/calendar, a feature I miss from webos. Also multitasking is horrible.
My overall opinion is this phones okay. Im probably going to get Android next, unless Apple makes iPhone 5 really awesome and not limited.
