hi everyone,i want to share my experience with u guys so u can end this debate...
i used to be a nokia user but now i'm using an iPhone 4.
first i get rid of my nokia cz it crashes a lot & it's so limited.
i tried samsung glaxy SII just to compare it to the iPhone that i have,beleive me guys the first thing that u'll notice is that the touch is not the same it's not even good which is shocking,second the software,my god i feel like handling with a cheaper and messed arround version of the iPhone 2G it's even compared to the 3G,third they go crazy when they say that it has superamoled display,let me clarify that it's brighter than the iphone but not better & u can see that when reading a text on a white page as font it make ur eyes hurts,it's not even confortable,4th the dual core processor is a nice thing to have but after 1h just 1h of usage the phone got too damn hot & i was not able to put it on my ear,5th the overall design,let's be real it's a costomized body of an iphone with cheaper materials,the ammount of plastics blows ur mind,my god they are too dependant they wait to see what apple inc produce and copy it,shame on them.
i want to move on to talk about my iPhone.i have it less than a month now and i have to say i'm totaly satisfied.
the display is damn awesome,the touch is soo good,no craches,nothing goes wrong.
i was surprised by the camera cz i was not expecting that much from an 5MP cam,the fact is that i touch like 30 pictures with it & i have to say the colors looks fantastic,the pics are smooth & great,the video is the real deal i even compared it to a video taken with the 12MP of a nokia N8 i didn't beleive my eyes the one on the iPhone looked so much better & it has a clear display.
when looking a the iphone all u can see is a well designed,very classy,solid look,mind blowing phone it's a damn looker.
let's talk about the apps,there are tons of apps in the app store lots of them are free.
the multi-tasking feature that everybody is dissapointed about is my best feature cz it pause the app which is helpfull cz i was able to open 15 app in the same time 15 people.
about the browser i know that some says that they prefer that the iPhone has a flash player & less restrictions,but people all that was done by the apple inc in order to protect ur phones so they last for years without crashing,i tried its browser on many websites & i found that it's so easy to use,very friendly and everything i need.
about the battery life,the first day i bought it the battery served like 10 hours that because i wasn't able to get my hands off,i couldn't beleive that it could exist a phone like the iPhone 4,the fact is that the apple inc always surprise me with their new releases cz everytime i say they won't be able to beat their latest release but the good news is that they always do.
final words, i'm proud to have an iPhone,very satisfied with it,i regret the time & the money i spent on other phones cz the iPhone worth every penny,in fact i'm glad that it's so costly so only few can have cz the one who buy it should appreciate it & appreciate the factory that mad such an incredible phone.
sorry for this long review but i had to say what i have.
extremely recommanded phone,buy it for u're own good dont waste ur time be an IPHONER today.

Had this phone a little over a week now, simply got it because everyone was saying how good they are etc etc, switched from a Blackberry Bold 9700 which I owned for over a year.
Firstly, the internet browsing is much better than that of a Blackberry. Everythig loads well, it's fast, clean, and the high resolution screen makes web browsing a pleasurable experience.
The App World is amazing compared to Blacbkerry, never knew there were so many apps out there! Reasonable priced apps too. The fact you don't have to re-boot your device everytime an app is installed is a nice little touch aswel unlike some other device manufacturers.
What I am not happy with, is the lack of functionality and what you can do with this phone. Apple restrict everything! This is what originally put me off this phone until I decided to see what all the fuss was about.
The battery on this phone is the worst I've ever experienced. I have to have this on charge at work all day otherwise there is no way it would last a day full day. Yes I am using this ofen but still, battery life is poor. Phones are getting better, but batteries worse? C'mon manufacturers!
I do miss BBM but lets see what iMessage has to offer in iOS 5. At the moment making use of Whatsapp and which run on all platforms and runs well unlike certain other instant messaging apps out there. I'm yet to get some hands on experience on iOS 5, however I like the idea of iMessage and also the new notification centre, as the notifications at the moment are very poor.
All in all good phone, shame Apple limit absolutley everything!

Kashif, 06 Sep 2011iPhone 4 is available in 8 and 16 GB model.I think you mean the ipod touch has 8GB,16GB models but hopefully for the sake of a cheaper i-phone4 they are bringing out a 8GB model.A big order was put in some time ago for 8GB flash units.

Adobe today announced that its Digital Publishing Suite will incorporate support for Apple's forthcoming Newsstand feature for iOS 5. Newsstand is intended to serve as the organization hub for digital subscriptions in iOS 5, offering users easy access to the latest content downloaded in the background.
Adobe's software will allow publishers to create digital editions of their magazine and newspaper applications that automatically deliver content to the Newsstand application on iOS devices. The compatibility will launch "soon after" Apple debuts iOS 5, which is expected sometime this fall.
Publishers will be able to use Digital Publishing Suite to create files that are detected by Newsstand and automatically downloaded to the Newsstand shelf, eliminating long download times which can present a barrier to reading content on iPad devices. Applications built with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite and enabled for Newsstand will allow publishers to better merchandise their content with support for Newsstand push notifications and icon covers displayed on the Newsstand shelf, reflecting the latest issue of the magazine or newspaper.
A number of publishers including Condé Nast and Reader's Digest have utilized Adobe's publishing tools to bring their content to the iPad, making Newsstand compatibility for Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite an important step toward making Newsstand the one-stop place for users to manage their digital subscription content on their iOS devices.

If i send a message or call a guy with my iphone and you do the same with your Android phone, would the guy at the other end know that my phone or yours is customised or not? Let us all just be satisfied with what we have and leave the other man's phone alone. period!!

I too agree. iOS are always better than android. Android gained popularity coz it was available in cheap devices. So it degrades the experience of Android. In the end you have to buy expensive range of Android for good quality. Then, wait for upgrades at the mercy of manufacturers. In that Apple simply wins! They have rock solid OS with stable upgrades globally. So the experience in unison to all the iphones compared to Androids.
iOS wins man!!!

i use an android.in d past,i hav used symbian,blackberry.
Last week i exchanged my android for an iphone for 2 days.
Lets just say that dose 2 days were d worst in terms of independence.so many limitations.thats so stupid of apple.

why u people give wrong information, u can search and find that samsung make every thing for iphone (apple),u can look at samsung phone product quantity and compare with your lovely iphone.

The bad ting about iPhone is dat its NOT customizable so everyone phones looks exactly d same..... unlike android where u can customize anything in d phone to each users taste ^_^
