Been using the iPhone 4 for almost a year now, without a bumper. Never faced any problems.
Daily use includes, email, Facebook, Twitter, Reeder, Things (To-do) list, Beejive, Whatsapp and Skype, YouTube, and games, lots and lots of games.
Current favorite games are Dead Space, Sword & Sworcery, Heavy Mach 2 and occasional Street Fighter 4 (almost a year and never get tired of multiplayer session for laughs).
Lastly, when I feel like it, I plug in my electric guitar using an iRig, and just mess about, bothering no one, as I listen using my headphones.
This is why the iPhone 4 makes me happy, and for the millions of other people who bought it, every single person will have millions of different reasons and app combinations and uses, all unique to them.
Notice I never mentioned dual core this, megapixel that, as it is almost irrelevant. I love it because of all the things I choose to do with it.
So, generalize all you want, point all the weaknesses, but at the end of the day, if you think that a boring list of specs is what makes a phone, you are sorely mistaken.
By the way this argument goes the same for other brands as well. If a Galaxy S2 makes you happy, then you should go for that. If its Sony Ericsson, why not. Enjoy the tech, be your own person, make your own decisions.

My personal suggestion is that since USD 700 is proving too much for you then do not buy the iphone 4 rather wait for iphone 5 as it will not prove cost effective because ofthe weak signal strength.Until then Apple will sort out those problems.

why we need to buy the application software in which thats their own application? thats is why i always have second thought of buying iphone. for that high price and i need to buy application again to use it omg! money real talks. i like a phone with no limit as long as its not against the law. can you do it with iphone 4 or on the next iphone? no limit and no pay application?

iphone4 is the best since 1st day i own & used until now, it doesn`t give me any problem...i use this phone to play games...extensively...web surfing, gps finding delicious food stall around me or any locations i want...&&& so much more...now i just can`t live without it...addicted.....
