Anyway, 'jailbreaking' an iPhone is a process that allows your iPhone to run un-official apps. Apps from sources other than the App Store.

Seems the mods here don't want fanboys to see HTC Desire is What Mobile Phone of the Year 2010 as my post was removed.

It's not about numbers. It's about Quality not Quantity.

But there will always be characterless yobs who buy iPhones to feel worthy or better about themselves and to feel accepted by society. Society has become shallow hollow conformist. Sad really.

                Apple Q3= 14 Million
                Nokia Q3= 115 million

                Looks who's talking.
Sometimes empty headed people speaks blindly. Anyway lets face it. It's only human to say your phone is the best but the figures speaks for it self.

[deleted post]Relax!!! you going to give yourself an ulcer!!

Nokia won't be the be all and end all of phones anymore. I have a Motorola XT720 and my brother just got a N8. Except for the 12mp camera the Moto is so much better than the N8. So it's really not that a big deal of a phone.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2010Why the battery is so poor.is there any help.?????I brought a battery back up for my iphone 4. You charge it with your phone charger, then when your iphone gets low whilst your out just plug in the bottom of your phone where the changer goes & it recharges your battery to full. You can re charge the charger 500 times as well.

[deleted post]LOL! forgetting that Nokia actually uses foxconn. Don't believe everthing you read on the internet. Look my friend it's not a matter of brain washing I don't use the Iphone, however I have used both Iphone 4 and N8 for about 2 weeks a piece. I was a Nokia user for many years until the N97 drove me away. Apple have simply out smarted Nokia. Was on the Nokia support discussion earlier and already people are sharing information on how to do hard resets for the N8 coz there's that many users needing to do a reset. I have been using the HTC desire for almost a year now never have I had to do a hard reset nor even force a shut down, don't even know how to reset it. I've only got 12Mb of memory space left but the phones runs fine. I totally refuse to use Nokia phones coz I take out 12 month contracts by the time the phone can be classified stable, I'd be due an upgrade, a waste of my hard earned money. Remember the N97? problems galore and still no sign of that 3.0 update

[deleted post]Fyunny how you label Iphone as ijunk when it's clear Nokia are the ones that have produced a string of rubbish Nseries smartphones since the N95 "N97 anyone". All Nokia's hope is on the N8 and if you check Nokia support/discussion it ain't looking so good, N8 just dying on people.
Apple don't produce low end smartphones therefore a much fairer comaprisson would be in the sector they operate in therefore High end smartphone to High end smartphone for example Iphone4 to N8/N97 etc and in this sector Nokia eats dust no matter which manufacturer you compare them to.

There are numerous shortcomings that I am finding harder and harder to deal with. Not having instant access to all your pertinent info while in app is just downright stupid. You should be able to view something like the time, the date, battery life, mail and messages at any point in any application. Not being able to do something as simple as to send and reply to a text without my current app closing is just too much.
