Anonymous, 28 Oct 2010desire is great though m not very sure about the battery,si... morebattery isnt great, i get like a day with fairy heavy use... most of the time its 1.5 to 2 days if im lucky.
not that bigger deal for me as i will just charge it everynight before i go to sleep and as the rest of the phone is that good i can live with it

I myself own a blackberry bold 9700 and samsung galaxy s,they are awesome,blackberry we all know isn't that great in multimedia application but does some things amazingly,about the galaxy s-i love it,besides people refer to it as crappy plasic they do forget to mention that its also lighter in weight than the iphone.
What is really disgusting frm fanboys is when they tease people saying that they cant afford an iphone.
Anyway,now i am looking for another smartphone to replace my bb bold 9700,in about 15-20 days.
I was considering n8 for a thought,but again slow processor n lack of good apps,though i have seen the samsung wave,looks great,fast n a great screen,only problem is that the os is very new so i wont get good apps like i have on my galaxy s.

galaxy s plastic body als... morebro, ive had the ip4 for like 8weeks now and ive never lost any signal strength ever.. ive even tried to find the spot to check if all the rumours are true and i just cant find it anywhere... maybe i got one of the later released ip4s but i do not have this issue at all
its funny tho.. cas all the people leaving comments on 'gotta use a bumper, cant even make calls' etc.. are people like you that dont even have the phone, nor have they even held the phone in there hands
guess ur just clutching at straws, to try make yourself feel better about the phone u just went out and paid $600 for
ive owned maybe 12 different high end phones over the last 2 yrs from nokia to samsung to lg to SE and more..and finally and unsurely I went out and bought the ip4 about 6 weeks ago
i currently own the ip4 and the htc desire and plan on keeping them for a long time and i wouldnt swap them for ANY other phone on the market at the moment.
doesnt really bother me what you say, but hey... what ever makes u feel better right?

Nor m i going to stick with a particular app for yrs.
I told u,its ones perception,some like the games on the app store,i dont.
I like other bussiness and utilities apps on the android market.again there are plenty of them.

iOS = all memory is available for installing Apps.
Samsung Galaxy S 2GB - Android - Phone company crapware (that can't be deleted) = less than 1GB available for installing Apps.

galaxy s plastic body also means lighter weight and no need to put an additional rubber bumper over it.
Just because a person doesn't own an iphone does not necessarily mean that the person can not afford it.....typical fanboy.

The camera does not suck,its good,though not the best.
As per my experience,the galaxy does not lag or freeze even a bit while doing real multitasking.
The android market does not have that many number of apps as the app store,but android market having more than 100k apps,can anyone even use these many apps?no so whats the point of app store having more than 300k apps?
Galaxy s has a bigger,brighter,sharper display,a super AMOLED display,so far the BEST in the market.
X10 isn't the best android phone,its a gud camera phone,waiting to get eclair.
Who is galaxy?
Its one of the better smartphone in the market to get....

i have seen both screens in person nd compared them
galaxy s blacks r true black...but the whites r kind of blueish tints sp in web pages
where as retina display is just milky white with crisssp text...sharper than ever u have seen...as jobs said its like written with ink..nd its really true nd the blacks r also deep compared to previous gen iphones
nd also the the iphone4's resolution is just amazing for a phone nd u can see how the resolution shines n games nd apps nd watching videos nd these r comparatively better than galaxy s but saying that galaxy s display is crap THAN that won't be true cuz SUPER AMOLED's contrast is very good
so yeah overall iphone4 has a better display..

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2010I can talk to people right next to me instead of ringing th... morec wifi,3g r basic when we say the term smartphone whether its galaxy,wave,iphone,n8 etc...
3g is great since its on our own network provider,though m not a big fan of wifi coz it has few limitations like u need a very good internet conn. N that u cant get wifi everywhere...3g u can get almost everywhere depending on signal strength.but to say that bluetooth is stone age would be like saying that nokia is dead(yes they are declining in the smartphone market but it doesn't mean they r dead,they still are the biggest manufacturers in the world n have a very strong fanbase)
P.S i am not a nokia fan.

Hey have you ever tried to bluetooth something ... moreu truly are frm stoneage n never seem to have used bluetooth 3.0,(btw how would u have used it since none of the iphone has it)
i can add my trusted contacts in my bluetooth devices,send large files n in the meantime continue doing my real multitasking.
Regarding email any1 can do it,nothing so special n that technology is even older than bluetooth file sharing.
Btw iphone users shouldn't be talking things like stoneage.

U people got video calling that too by default limited to just over wifi nto other ipod touch or iphone4's.
