not bad to say on a single model line with thousands of hours and millions of dollars califronias darling apple still cannot make a phone without bugs that should have been spotted during r and d and product developement apple has spectacularly managed to cook the goose

I have had the iphone 4 since its release and i must say it is outstanding.
I go through a lot of company phones due to the upgrades we get and nothing can touch it. The speed of the processor, the clarity of the screen, the unlimited applications, etc.
I have had almost every HTC out there but will never touch one again. Samsung should stick to TV's cos their phones just don't cut it.
The iphone 4 is the best phone out there by a mile and i think it will stay up there for a while

I just received my new iphone 4 yesterday. The area I live in town, almost no other phone has or gets any reception.
To my amazement this phone never dropped or missed a call ever. Great reception and yes it is wearing it's bumper cap.

I have upgraded from the original iPhone, and as usual I am amazed by what Apple has accomplished... The retina display is amazing... After reviewing the Retina display you cannot look at other monitors, TV's or any other phone in the same way. This is how you're meant to view a screen... It's like a printed sticker with smooth clean lines.
The feel of the phone is just right. First class materials and workmanship are right in your hand.
The camera, sound, and video capabilities are all first class, with iMovie and FaceTime blowing everything else out of the water. Sound quality enhancements make listening to Internet Radio and other things a real treat.
Now I will get to the bad things, however, which may make some people wait for the next version before purchasing.... The antenna issue is real. In low signal areas it becomes annoying because holding the phone DOES affect and drop connections. That happens to be the way I hold the phone naturally, so it's a big deal.
Also... My camera has a green tinge in the center in my office place and I read online that it's because of the industrial lighting. This is another big deal, because I don't want to find out I have green blurs on my pictures.
Even with these issues I might be happy enough with the phone to keep it. But I can't help but feel that Apple has rushed this particular phone to the market.

Guys I have asked a friend of mine to book an iPhone 4 for me in Singapore.
He has placed my order on the Apple Store, Singapore website. He will be getting the delivery sometime in the first week of Oct.
Once my friend receives it in Singapore, he will send it across to me in India. I wanted to confirm if this phones will work with out any problem with my existing carrier (Vodafone)?
The site says iPhone 4 purchased from the Apple website will be unlocked, which if I understand correctly means- SIM Free....right?
