The whole iPhone is too dependent on iTunes - you cannot add the same type of content (video, photos, apps) to the phone from two computers, a regular file management interface would have been much better

No info widgets on lockscreen or homescreen
SMS tones are still not customizable
No mass mark emails as read
No proper file browser or access to the file system
No USB mass storage mode
No vibration feedback when touching the screen
No Bluetooth file transfers to other mobile phones
Contacts lack a swipe-to-delete or mass delete feature
No SMS/MMS delivery notifications
No smart dialing (but Spotlight is a somewhat of a substitute)
No DivX or XviD video support and no official third-party application to play that

I fully agree. looks like Steve Job is still in 20th Century and video call, 5Mp camera and HD video are quite new and innovative to him . His is just an arrogant and ignorant snob CEO who know shit about technology. He is just looting people by selling digital photoframes ( read Ipad) with inbuilt wi fi . Laptops which are over prices and over hyped. But I can tell u my friend , this the hightest apple could go..just wait for a few months and u will see the downfall. I have dumped my phone and bought android based mobile and it feels like u are now eqipped with modern technology.

An other piece of well polished and well marketed junk from apple. i think this is the best they can do. Three sent me this handset and I have been wondering why did they make it??Is there anything different from other handsets..oh yes Video call....oh shit ..thats quite old technology and iphone makes only video call on wi fi and that too to apple iphone4 only ..i repeat - to apple iphone 4 only ...

This new iphon... moreDont go posting rumors as fact. This was mentioned by a Mexican executive, who does not have access to this level of information, which is probably stated in the news article you read itself.
The current indication is that he misinterpreted the 30 September end of case program. Apple may or may not introduce hardware modifications, but nothing is confirmed.

This new iphone from Crapple will have its deathgrid antenna fixed via hardware.
So this means people can return the current phone and demand the new version because Crapple sold a crappy phone, at least that is what i would do.

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2010but no basic phone have any antenna problem. Antennagate may have worked in the beginning when it was US only, but now it only comes across as lame ammo for haters. People from other countries had plenty of time to evaluate, yet when the phone launched, it still sold in droves.
Why? Because the signal performance is actually better than ever. If the problems were really true, returns would be at an all time high in the US, but that is not the case.
