Truth is, it's not about being concerned about money... it's about being smart on HOW you spend your money! Common sense! At least for me forking up more than $500 for a cell phone is just plan dumb! Our phone companies are competitive so they all offer free iPhone 4's.
If you are getting something for free, you may as well get the most expensive ones.
Incidentally the N97 and SonyEricsson X10 both have higher retail prices than the iPhone 4 32GB model.
If you are so worried about money you can buy a locked Nokia 1616 for $29.

Such as Nokia, SonyEricsson, Motorola< HTC etc
Phone companies don't invent many things they order them from component suppliers, the N8 screen will be made by Samsung or LG as they are currently the only companies that make AMOLEDS.

[deleted post]Well, it's not about which is better than which... I think it all boils down to your priorities... let's discuss both Iphone4 and Wave (I think the Omnia HD is currently aging). At present, the iphone4 has the largest screen resolution in any phone and the largest apps store... however is too expensive for what it really does (antenna problems or not). The Wave has a killer super AMOLED screen and a kick-@ss video recorder... however, Bada is rather new and there aren't that many apps in store yet... So, all in all, both the iphone4 and Wave have fantastic screens, 5mp cams, 720p video recording and quick 1ghz processors... I guess, taking into consideration both their pros and cons, they're almost a match... so I guess it all boils down to how deep your pocket really is!!!

App Recommebdation: Remote
New iPhone users might not know this, but there is a free app called Remote from Apple. With it, you can use your iPhone to control your iTunes music over wi-fi. I use it when i have friends over, there's no need to keep getting up to change or skip a song.

The game on iPhone isn't just a tapping affair. They adjusted it for the iPhone with strums and whammies. Quite fun, although i feel that they could have included more songs as standard.

Anyways, app recommendation. Anyone into photography, if you're in front of a beautiful scene and have no wide screen camera handy and only your iPhone. You should have Autostitch.
Ive managed to produce some great panoramic shots and am very happy with this app.
