[deleted post]HAHA none of them reported by comsumer reports, none in gsm or otherwises review and all appear just as the iphone 4 probems became apparent. Funny enough the evo one is by covering the entire top of the phone which nobody does!(except iphone 4 users to get signal ie. isteves 'hold it different position) I have phones whos network signal drops and rises and my house too i could make videos of that but its due to the signal in my house not the phone ;) could make a comeback video that way. Funny though, iphone 4 has offically been found faulty in test not just in labs but outdoors in mulitlpe tests and locations and fanboys still cling on to isteves waistline to defend it,its the reason apple has got away with this so far and the reason its trying to get away with showing a comlpete lack of repsect for its drooling customers. I imagine any posts you have put up on an apple forum are still there as the hundreds of complaints comments have been deleted by apple :)

Hey, I'm really torn between Galaxy S and Iphone4 so there's some stuffs I want to ask about.
-How can an update solve the reception issue?
-Is the glass really that easily scratched as other phones?
-Is there any way to use Iphone as a storage media?
And lastly, are you all feeling safe about Apple seeing that some people are saying that Apple brush off these issues and is the Ihand thing real? I want to try Iphone but seeing how Apple is being unreliable in respect to Iphone4, it makes me worried.
Thanks in advance :)

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010Hi Damien, So far multi tasking hasn't taxed my iPhone ... moreThanks for your reply. Good to see multitasking is working well. With 512mb of RAM, it should! My cousin has the phone, and she has had reception issues (she lives in LA). But I think the user experience and apps available will make me overlook this problem (fingers crossed I don't have big issues).

Damien, 13 Jul 2010I haven't had a chance yet to play on the iphone 4, but am ... moreHi Damien,
So far multi tasking hasn't taxed my iPhone at all. However, I am always switching between Beejive, Whatsapp, Facebook, and Safari only, with occassional phone call, sms in between. All operating like normal.
Reception issue. I want to tread carefully here, or the Android people will be all over me lol. Personally, I have not had any issues at all, and most guys I am in touch with (7 people) have also not reported issues. To be fair, I will say here, your mileage may vary. My friends are saying that it could be depending where you are.
Battery life is much better than my 3GS. My usage is similar to when I had the 3GS, but I find the battery lasts longer. With normal use, I can charge it every other day, even though I tend to prefer to charge it every night (obsessive hehe).
Based on my personal experience so far, and of my friends, I am very happy with the iPhone 4. It is great to own, and I really recommend it. If you are worried about the reception issue, you have options. One, Apple allows you to change your phone, or get a full refund. If you are still unsure, then wait for opinion once the software fix comes out.

I haven't had a chance yet to play on the iphone 4, but am due a new phone so am looking to get it. Just a few questions for current users.
- How is the multitasking function? Are you able to multitask with all apps, or just certain apps? And how many apps do people find they can have open before they start to notice some decrease in speed/performance?
- Is the reception issue really THAT bad? I've read on here that a case will fix this.
- How is the battery life? I had a 3g in the past and the battery was abysmal (barely lasted a day). I imagine it has improved tenfold. How often are you having to charge with "average" use (eg daily or 2nd daily)?

If fanboys didn't realise how apple is controlling them for money before they should now:

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010Sure there was. Right on the apple support forums there was... moreJesus we knew apple was massive controlling and dictating but to be erasing any evidence of customer complaints is just plain wrong beyond belief, just like the complete lack of repsect it has for its drooling drones who emptied their bank accounts after steve jobs pr and marketing tactics.Have you even seen Derren Browns tv show using excellent mental wording techniques to fool people into doing things or hand over money? apple uses very similar techniques. Steve Jobs just simply denies all the faults like signal, screen cracking etc and complaints despite how apparent they are,its like a proproganda machine. No company should be allowed to do this

Foley, 13 Jul 201021.5 mil of all smartphones made by Nokia (mostly Symbian) ... moreThe problem for Nokia is that they aren't making much money because they sell a lot of cheap, low end Symbian phones.
The more money that can be made, the more that can be spent on R&D.
