Im never gonna use iphone again, i sold it. It has no qwerty keypad and its hard to type and going back to a alphabet. Theres no T9. So i give it a total ZERO on texting.
The iphone OS has become restrictive :| its only making things really complicated for the users. The main shit is, its not open source like android. This phone doesnt support direct bluetooth to transfer file to any other device than a apple product! Wtf? It doesnt even support direct usb storage without itunes! Again, i cant change its battery whenever i wish to.. It has micro sim card support only!?? (is this a joke?) Its camera is really poor...
Again, i dont like its music. Its loud but it lacks of the beat (nokia n86 music is much better)
I hate the look of the sluggish design of iphone, ive tested its networking comparing with nokia. Iphone totally fails in the speed of wifi and edge/hsdpa. My next phone would be sony ericsson or this Lg http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_optimus_q-3257.php
If u are up to emails and high speed browsing, go for nokia e72. For style and cam, go for sony erricson or nokia n8. If u wish for HD graphics, i say samsung i9000 galaxy s

Its all the market strategy what apple approaches...
They start slowly with less number of specifications and increase it..
But we need to appreciate their marketing skills.
Even though there are no good features people are buying it and we ourselves are creating much hype of iPhone.
Like the phone? buy it..
Dont like the phone? Dont buy it..
Thats all...
No one (Apple) is insisting you to buy the phone.

I am confused by these comments. Alot of you seem to refer to a Mr Steve Jobs as a friend!?? is he not just some geek that works for apple? Furthermore, are you people actually part of the mobile business or do you really just have nothing better to do?

If any of you guys get the change to read the presentation Steve Jobs did please watch it because you will be impressed if you like new things.
I give it to Apple that they look way forward instead of bringing out models that are like each other in tech terms.
Iphone 4 has changed the way we surf the net for ever.
Lets see what happens but i'm all for the iphone, Not going to mention any other h/set on here because this is a Iphone page and thats all that counts.
Steve Jobs does us proud, He really is a fantastic fellow.

No one used computers until Mackintosh. No one listened to MP3 players until iPod. No one make phone calls until iPhone. No one made video calls until iPhone4. No one ever used microSD untill iPhone8... Yeah right!

Nokia used to be best selling phone years and years ago before the iphone came out.
Just because a phone sells more doesn't mean it's the best for example some people can't afford the iphone so they probably get a sony ericsson or the cheaper option is the Nokia
If you look at 2009 iphone sold more than any other phone in japan and that's where the technology is and because I want the best phone i'm going for the phone 4.
Reason why nokia sold loads previously is because it's cheap and people who don't work can even afford it can buy it very cheap and some Nokias are going for a tenner.
Lots of chavs have the Nokia because they like to play the music loud and go on buses and annoy people.

Heres the thing, if you nokias are so good, why are there loads of apps to make them look like apple UI, like slide to unlock, myphone, apple keypad, and smsthread, all these will make you nokia 67343's or what ever they are called, look like an ipohne, and loads of you have them, and why does nobody with an HTC never come on here and slag of apple, is that cos they are happy with there phones, cos theres dont hang and stick and freeze. i made my point

The Nokia fanboy (I'm a respectful Apple fanboy that likes the iPhone but respects other brands such as Nokia) has made it evident that he is against iPhones and will find ever bit of thing to talk trash about it. First of all, this is an iPhone 4 comments section not an Apple vs Nokia section. Secondly, stop comparing the iPhone to other phones, for example, the N82 is a camera orientated phone, the iPhone is more of an all-in-one device.
The majority speaks for itself, the iPhone has outsold many other phones, including the ones from Nokia. This says that the majority like the iPhone better meaning that it is better business for Apple. Sure, you may like Nokia but please, if you are going to hate, go somewhere else or at least hate "responsibly" as someone said somewhere before.
As for this quote "all you needed to say to close the case was that 'this phones changes everything'". If saying this makes it sell well, why doesn't other companies employ this marketing technique?? This is obviously because an educated person woundn't be so foolish in the first place to go off an buy the product purely because the company said it changes everything. As the cliched saying goes, would you jump off a cliff if your friend told you to?
Also you are misunderstanding thw advertisement which is showing us that you are one of the uneducated people. "This changes everything", if you look at the whole ad, it implies that this changes everything with regards to the new iPhone and the previous ones.
Anyway, with all due respect, I'm pretty sure either you guys are little 13 year olds fussing over which phone is better or not while trying to present useless, redundant and contradictory evidence or that you are just in denial that one product is selling better than another, regardless of its features, outdated or not.

[deleted post]you my friend have fallen for all apples marketing techiques,classic example,all you needed to say to close the case was that 'this phones changes everything'. The iphone 4 will sell well no doubt despite the ridiculous price and technology and features lagging behind its competitors and a ui which has seen barely any work in 4 years. You gotta hand it to apples marketing and word suggestion techniques though,it gets bank accounts emptied year after year without fail.

Its seems that everyone here is either a fan for one company or another sprouting banter about which is better and getting personal just to get their point across when no one is really listening when they get frustrated.
Truth is I have used Nokia, Samsung, and Apple. So I hope you all don't take this personally but I must say that while all of them have their strengths and flaws I still prefer the iPhone! For two simple reasons.
The first - USER INTERFACE.. No other company, from Nokia, Samsung, Sony, and whomever have even come close and are still so very far to the feel and responsiveness of the iphone! Even as of this writing, there is no one who can, pardon the pun, "touch." the iphone!
Second - Applications! On the Appstore and from the like of Cydia and Rock as well. Even if 90% like so many have said on this forum, are quite useless, the remaining 10% still means Millions of Applications that I can use whenever and wherever I want!
Now, as for the Processor, and screen, or whatever else, I really don’t care.. Why? Because for the most part, we will see the same technology on par with today’s standards from phones of the same level.. If any.. I am also no Fan of Steve Jobs but let’s face it, with the orders coming in for the iPhone this week shutting down the system, im pretty sure he is doing something right!
So, I have decided to buy the iPhone and N8 as soon as available and give one to each of my mistresses and let you all know what is the reality of the situation is there!
