If it is, that is the commo... moreThe phone is jailbroken and itunes does not recognize it at all. the phone is totally dead. tried on multiple occassions to press the sleep and home button with and without the cable connected for 10 secs and so on and so forth. However it deos not respond at all. Are there any other ways to fix it?

Is your phone jailbroken? If it is, that is the common problems in iphones. And aside from this, iphone 4 and 4s often experience black screens. But you can fix it on your own. just restore your phone by itunes or icloud.

I have a iphone 4, tried to update to the latest Ios today via wifi. tried to install the update and it started showing a USB plug refering to iTunes.
now it does not even start, totally dead. nothing happens. even when the power and home button pressed together.
please assist

I have an iPhone 4 that i bought from Vodafone ..
This phone is just amazing and no issues at all
I also have Galaxy Note II but i still love to use my iPhone 4 ..
I am pretty sure its a higher quality than iPhone 5 ..

nasa, 13 May 2013i have an iPhone s4 the problem with it you lose your co... moreyes go to the settings and then move on to contacts,calender option... you will find import contacts option there and frm there all ur cntacts wil b restored
