i use bluetooth to transfer my document files for my work from my laptop to my n70 and vice versa i think its less hassle to bluetooth my files to my laptop than to email it.

I think we all know that if you want an upgrade and have a 3GS this phone isn't needed at all. You're better off with an Android/Symbian phone like the N8 or Galaxy S or Nexus One or even the awkwardly big Evo 4G.

It seems apple wont reveal how fast or slow the processor is, I've been looking through the bs on their website and i can't find it anywhere.
This makes me think it's slower than the nexus one and HTC desire

I'll take AMOLED over TFT & especially TFT IPS any day. AMOLED has 30% more battery efficieny, S^3 has 20% more battery efficiency over previous symbians. 50% & that's excluding the highly efficient BT3.0 + HS, the highly efficient & low battery power application processor of ARM 1176. Your iphone won't last long with a typically higher power application processor, higher power OS, higher power display unit. Iphone does loose in this department. Woote

Apple claimed on their keynote that the iphone4 currently has the highest display resolution on a smartphone of 640x960 pixels. Now if Apple was lying about that, give us a phone that has a higher display resolution than 640x960.

Regarding the price, AT&T is actually being quite generous this time around in return for upping their fees on canceling iphone contract to $325 (up from $175). If you are do for an upgrade this year (this means you have had your current phone for nearly two years) AT&T will allow you the upgrade price which is the same as the new customer price of $199 (16gb) & $299 (32gb). For all other users on their current contract depending on how much you have spent on your phone bills AT&T MAY offer you an early upgrade to the iphone 4 for $399 and $499 respectively, even if you just upgraded two months ago. For everyone else in the USA looking to purchase the phone without contract it is $599 & $699.

If you are concerned about file transfers. BT is not the best way to transfer files. MMS and email are. I am not totally discounting BT as a tool for file transfer, but sadly, people usually use it to transfer music. It is not a major loss not having bt file transfer on a phone. Bt headsets are enabled on the iphone. Tethering is also available on the iphone. It's only bt file transfer that's not.
It's no trick. Apple has been very open with their strict rules on piracy.
Battery life has always been and will always be an issue with smartphones. Multitasking will quickly drain any smartphone's battery life. Apple found a way to provide multitasking without quickly draining battery life. There is nothing wrong with that. It's actually very smart.

That is part of having a good business. But any good business cannot live by good marketing alone. Good marketing can only carry you so far. Consumers will catch up. The iphone has been out for three years now going in on their 4th. Good marketing alone will not have that sustaining ability.
The iphone is indeed a cool device and it is indeed the thinnest smartphone out there (for now). It also has the highest screen resolution on a smartphone, and that is the truth as well. And those present at the keynote have been attesting that the iphone's display is indeed brilliant. So how can you say that they are trying to fool anyone.
And honestly, how can you even have the readers take your opinion as a fact when you havent even held the iphone4? And you say that you don't hate the iphone? Hypocrite.

iPhone 4 will fail, hands down. Due to the fact that Apple didn't fulfill many important requests from customers, iPhone 4 won't see a quarter of the sales of the iPhone 3GS. Most consumers aren't going to fall for the over-hype this time. Once several, credible reviews begin surfacing, word will spread regarding all of its short-comings, and people will look elsewhere for a true smart-phone. It's pretty clear to see that this device is going to be nothing more than a big let down.

Lol just go any brand and filter ur search by 9mm in thickness, ull get ur results :) so u can see how they lie on people, and since when did thickness matter just put it in ur pocket and sit in a wrong way and the screen will break. As long as the phone sits in ur palm nicely and comfortably, and it must be comfortable on ur ear while ur talking on phone unlike the iphone which has a boxxy edge to it which annoys u while talking, I know this a small detail but its and important one.
This is my opinion and an advice, if u don't wana approve it then its ur choice.
