@ governor, i agree with you about the screen, but i want you to know that a phone can never replace a computer, and not all phones are suitable for browsing experience, luckly the iphone is. To those who say we cant afford it, well actually we just dont see tha point thats all. We did afford buy phones in the first place what difference is this one.

A regular sim can be easily cut into a microsim.
FaceTime is limited and not practical. Hopefully someone does make an App to make it useful but it probably won't be sanctioned by Apple (not istore available).

Microsim? Oh well there go the hackers. is the sim removable? Still no flash for the browser? Still no file transfering through bluetooth? Videocalling only from iphone to iphone and only through wifi,Im sure fring will fix that though.Dont know what to think of this phone its the phone we love to hate,Ill stick with nokia.

Tbh Apple makes great displays. On the 3gs you can at least see it in the sun whereas I can't see nothing on my oled N86 screen. I'm sure apple is not going to go backwards with the new screen. Only gripe is they didn't increase the screen size. If it was 4 inch then it would be perfect, much easier to read books, surf net and watch movies. Guess they didn't want it to compete with the iPad but they should have against the likes of HD2, Galaxy S and Evo 4g.

A regular sim can be easily cut into a Micro sim since the metal contact is identical.
Here is the price breakdown:
Contract - $199 / $299. Requires new 2 year AT&T contract.
Upgrade (AT&T only)- $199 / $299. Requires extending current AT&T Contract to 2 years.
No Contract (everyone) - $599 / $699
Early Termination - Approx $625 / $725.

In my opinion i think the iphone 4 is crap, cuz the back is too flat, an exact copy of nokia N81, what are they trying to pull! I have the 3G, dint need to buy the 3gs, since the only difference is speed, and i can simply upgrage my 3g software to 4g, so its pointless buying the 4g, plus the back of the 3g and 3gs are much better than the 4g. Gush are they trying to imitate nokia or what.

Its all on the same Di and is built in house ....
Its kinda going back to the old PPC vs Intel chip argument ...
this is not an outsourced component tweaked to run the software and other hardware .. Its specifically been chosen for the role , an the rest opf the hardware designed around it , unlike the out sourced proccesor (snapdragon) in the Desire ....

The iphone 4's TFT IPS led backlight screen has a limit on it's viewing angle wheareas SAMOLED is free viewing angle. The IPS will be slightky sharper - that's all. You will will have to have very good better than averages eyesight to discern a useable difference from 15" away, the difference is very slight. Your problem is that TFT IPS uses 30% more battery drain than SAMOLED. What steve jobs has got wrong, is that it's smoother more fluid at motion. This is wrong. SAMOLED pixels switch on & off much faster, they emit their own light
In contrast tft led pixel switching on off is much slower, using artificial lighting. SAMOLED will naturally produce much higher contrast black/whites &m mucher wider vivid colour scale due to the nature of organic materials & pure natural light. You can see in the iphone wwdc demo lanscape scrolling, the motion isn't exactly fluid, there is some judder or lag going on there. Go watch a demo of the S^3 & see a real 60FPS scrolling through the media gallery with smooth fluid motion with no judder n8.
