I find this debate on iPhone very fascinating. I agree with some of the people that iPhone isn't THE BEST phone on the planet but considering they've been in this business for only 3 year and created a big splash in the market especially in terms of innovation. We should recognise Apple's contribution and we all know iPhone can't do everything but whatever it does (within its limitations) It does it really well. I think iPhone is more about user experience than anything else, full credit goes to Apple coz they have preserved that in the DNA of all its products.
iPhone isn't a perfect device for everybody as some people may have particular needs so they choose Nokia or HTC. If iPhone suits you then buy it if don't then don't be angry. I can understand you expect alot from iPhone that's why most of you steaming here but remember, 'Rome wasn't built in a day'. Give it some time, I am pretty sure Apple will lead the way in terms of innovation in next years to come.

The cost of looking cool:
- Bluetooth 3.0 but no OBEX.
- Video call but only through wifi.
- HD video but mono sound.
- Ipod app but crappy speakers.
- Good apps but locked down store.
- Smartphone but no USB.

I mean cmon you cant honestly tell me that you believe what you are saying haha big deal this ground breaking device can make a video call WOW you can buy a $50 phone that can do that!! BlackBerry's have been multi tasking for a long time and a 5MP camera is nothing specatcular. If you want one then get one but dont make such ludacris statements like those that dont have 1 cant afford them.

As far as file transfer through bluetooth, that's not going to happen due to US copywrite laws. The phone is still awsome though and I can't wait to get mine.

iphone 4 has a few obvious and badly needed hardware improvements which not only could but SHOULD have been in last years 'new' iphone,but then apple wouldnt have sucked the money from fan boys pockets last year and now easily be able to suck the money from fanboys yet again this year! Lets face it the entire list of needed items missing in this years phone will be included in next years 'new' iphone.i Love that official promo video in gsmarena blog,its hilarious!!! Thoses vice presidents are talking about the (over wifi)video calling as if its the best thing since skiced bread!!! they obviously havent had a proper phone since 2007 when video calls was introduced widespread!!! I wonder how many fanboys will be in awe of it?!!! get your 4.99 ready also for the video recording features aswell which were free with the 3gs

carlos, 09 Jun 2010yes i also want to know , why a 2010 phone do not have Radio ?Is radio that much important? Let see what's available on the radio hmmmmm music, News, Interviews with celebs and politicians etc, adverts. Whats available to the phone itunes where u can buy and organise your music to your liking and listen to it without interruption, you wanna hear some celeb and political juice there pod casts and there's the internet on the go where you access to all the news you will ever need and the good thing is you choose what you want to look at.
Believe me if radio was that much of a need it would have been in the Iphone from the start.
