Give me a break. The so called breaking through technology which was available on other mobile phones for years. I don't like closed OS. I want freedom, get an Android phone.

I work in a phone store and i sell phones that are less then €50 that can do video calling.
Im gald the iphone can do video calling but hate the way they think there the 1st to think of it. It been out for YEARS.
The idea of putting the wifi bluetooth and 3g into the frame sound really cool but the i think it silly cause what happen if you let it gets a small fallS.
That why they put them parts inside the phone.

I have to say i have gone thru some peoples comments. I find some of it to be so ignorant. Apple always comes out with good products this is one of them. You people have to understand its not just the hardware its the software behind it. This product will sell so fats with cooperate and enterprises because of its OS. Please before you bash it read about understand it. There new OS will override the blackberry enterprise server.

The Sony Ericsson Z1010 had video calling in 2003. That's over 7 years ago. Way to almost catch up with everyone else and take credit for other companies innovations, yet again Apple.

They spent a lot of money on something that has only just had features added to it that had been in other phones for years. Its an inferior product so they rationalize there decision to help themselves feel better.

Wooow!!! It is just another Apple Marketting Gimic.
My Nokia N97 has all of that plus more like micro sd cars slot and FM Radio, Free Voice navigation GPS..etc
Iphone is a slave to a network, not legally unlocked.
Cannot be used on other networks. I will never buy IPhone, not until they will be at par with Nokia, Sony or other top brands, and Apple I will eat for lunch.

This is more of an upgrade than I could have ever hoped for, really. From one of the lowest ppi to the highest. New 5 MP camera brings it up to par with most other high-end phones. Video call camera is the second in the US. Screen technology is supposedly better than AMOLED.
What else to apple-haters have to criticize?
"OMG it doesn't have 8 MP camera!" I've seen some pretty crappy 8 MP shots, and some really nice 3.2 - 5 MP shots. Get off your little cloud and realize this is wonderful hardware with the same amazing, stable software it's had for years, only better.

Launching Ipad and Iphone 4 change die hard apple fan like me. Yes, it revolutionize phone and MP3. But now they are taking advantages of customers by giving shit products and taking profits. Evrything even sim card is closed technology now. I am sure Apple will go back to era when it nearly bankrupt if this continues for next 5 years. Tomorrow I am going to get Htc legend which is made from single piece of aluminum and yet half plan price with free phone.
