well according to the wwdc show it does have a micro sim, working in a phone shop i know that upgrading customers will probably be provided with a microsim when they upgrade with their number on the micro sim transfered after a day or two. looks good only problem is not much difference in battery life and its slightly bigger.

I love it how some people are saying Adroid clone or that android is better, did they forget thath every single company trys to compete with iphone. iphone was the first phone in its category and everyone tried to follow, all samsung, lg etc layouts are all almost identical to apple because they all realised that the iphone is really on top of the charts. Now for all the haters and people who think that a htc is actually better than the iphone please stay off of making coments here because its only yourself that your lying to. PS. all owners of iphone know that this phone is amazing.

I just don't see the real Steve Jobs doing that today, he's probably going through his speeches & pacing his room. Good luck if it is him. I really hope its as good as I expect!

Apple have built a fan base and have sold over 51 million iphones since release, many will upgrade to a new model and Apple surely want to bring in more new customers. Bringing out a new model with a new sim card system will cause disruption, especially for people not wishing to buy the phone on contract. Also if mirco sim was in the pipe-line, major networks would have been made aware of this by now and announcements would have been made to say many future mobiles will have micro sim. By Apple bringing in micro sim out of the blue would case disruption.
People may say the iPad has micro sim. Slightly different scenario. The iPad is not a mobile phone, there circumstances would be different on that situation.
Im pretty sure the 4G we've been seeing in pics and videos were fake, maybe some kind of deliberate trick by Apple if anything.

The fact that it is increasing becoming more difficult to get hold off the 8gbs suggests that they are trying to discontinue them... therefore keeping the latest models of the 3gs which id imagine they will reduce "when" the new model is released... look up on the net apparently apple are due to release the date today 10.00am pacific time 4pm europe time

They are to big for their purpose anyway. If Apple do become the first to make the swap then it will certainly not make me change my mind about the iPhone, as I'm sure many would agree. Apple will get stick for it but someone has to be revolutionary and make the change. So why not Apple? Its usually them setting the trend anyway!!!

This is probably a FAKE phone. But then if it wasnt, who cares? Its only a mobile phone. People never died whether or not it was true.
