Why do you need java when there is the app store much better and slicker....I got my I phone and i never regretted getting em.... :)

Actually it's not bad considering this phones TFT display is IPS variant with the highest TFT PPI yet.
Of course IPS panels already use more than TN, VA panels. I hope they have a monster size battery in development for the higher ppi overall res & IPS factors for concern in a phone using 1GHz cpu. Mind you it's a 45nm & arm cortex are pleasing on battery life.
Good job theres no 65nm snapdragon in there then. That would leave apple needing to work on os efficieny & other factoring overheads.
I never said I didn't like the shape of the iphone. But this is hardly innovative with a few rounded & polished edges here & there
For me, I need a phone without closed hardware & soft architecture, limitations, & only dependant on it's app store.
I'm sorry but java id my thing, & so is flash accelerating 75% of webflash websites. Despite apple having work arounds, it's way inconvenient. Plus apple need to make sure their OS is upto scratch since most other platforms can recogise flash & run it without any wavering drawbacks.
But my overall opinion is I do like thr phone. But apple are expensive & charge for almost everything. It would need to have the other hard to live without defining hardware techs which apple are behind on.
Apple may have had a head start & impressive app store. But nokia's ovi store is soon integrating meamo & mee go. S^3 + devices will gain better wider field dev support. Off course the language is a breeze & also a new framework will inspire non programmers to make programs more easily.
Good luck to apple fans. The 4G will probably be very good phone. But expect some undercuts.

I avoided buying apple because of the hardware and the OS limitation that Apple ignored until now....
Spend 1300SGD when HTC touch cruise was launched and then moved to Samsung Omnia II picked up for 800SGD and now using E72(office) along with Omnia II. Finally with Apple 4G it is time for peoples like me who liked apple but didn't buy due to poor specs will finally jump into the apple wagon this summer. My friends called me Apple hater but owning a 4 yr old MAC laptop does not make me a hater but I simply can't come to the terms to buy a under speced hardware....I bought a ipod touch which I think is bit expensive but best serves the perpose for which peoples out there bought the iphone. With iphone 4G I think now Apple is launching a true product where people like me would finally merge there phone, ipod and camera into one. you must have heard a leading bank (SCB) have replaced blackberry with iphone 3gs, and with iphone 4G coming with quite decent (I won't say best) this is surely going to become the corporate mobile of future. Offcourse I donot undermine the 'Desire' of android which is growing at a faster pace and the reviving of Window mobile this year. For as of now I see iphone 4G going to make a big splash this summer matching the highend android phones in terms of hardware. I am not refering to software because apple anyway have a lead here, don't forget they were the first to come up with GUI on computers long before Big brother Bill.

Java developers look away now. Adobe developers look away now. Anyone HTC look away now. Anyone Nokia fanboys look away now. Anyone Kodac, look away now. Anyone google, look away now. I wonder how many more we can add to the list. ARM maybe. hmmmm? "scratches head"
After all a new model should be more attractive & have rounder curves, be slimmer & have a beautiful face lift at the same time. My point?
During the making of this post, no Nokia fans or other rivals were harmed. No offence or words of a sarcastic nature was intened toward any other parties involved.

It seems the Nokia N8 model is stealing the show with more hits than any other good looking model. Sorry the material should be appropriate.
My question is that this phone is now officially official, but it's still a rumour in which case would anyone care to elaborate my point further.
Is Steve Jobs in double or triple jeapordy ir dire straights & rethink his action man plan. OR is he building up for the i-kill u. In which case he definately should join up with ahmed for a infomercial war.
