To hell with other iphones iphone 4s is solid built like tank fits in pocket fits in hand it doesnt need extra cover for preventing scratches above all it doesnt burn my pocket

You can obtain it when you are updating your iPhone through iTunes. It's a very complex topic. If you updated the phone over-the-air, there's no chance to downgrade it anymore.

Hey Everyone, Just want to ask if somebody knows how to downgrade the os without jailbreaking the phone and without baseband issue? I still have my iphone 4s but my os is at 7.1.3 I think. I love using this phone but sometimes I want it to run on the older os for nostalgia purposes :)

david, 01 Aug 2017please help me i have iphone 4s but its network locked ple... moreUse GPP / RSIM / GPPLTE chips. When I purchased a secondhand iPhone 4s, it was Japan-locked. But the seller used RSIM 9 to allow signals from other networks from all countries. There are downsides though e.g. you cannot used USSD codes. At least you have a cheaper alternative than spending big money for network unlock. Just do a further research on this one if you're interested! ;)

yared berhane, 29 Aug 2017battery very hated Replace the battery. They don't last forever. Typically around 2 years. Ifixit, eBay, Amazon, you can buy the battery for $15-$25. Cheap and easy fix. Never a need to replace a phone.

I'm using an iPhone 4s (IOS 9.3.5) and it does everything I need and want. I like the smaller size (iPhone SE would be the only newer IPhone I'd be interested in), and the 3G is still pretty fast , though I usually use wifi. Also if something happens to it it's not as big of a deal to repair or replace, as a newer model costs a lot more as so do parts.
Battery life is going to suck on any device unless you adjust the screen brightness.
