In Late-2015, Apple faced a class-action lawsuit for slowing down the 4S with the iOS 9 update, some people say Apple slowed down the 4S to force users to upgrade to a newer iPhone, however that is not the case. The iPhone 4S had 512MB of RAM which wasn't really enough for iOS 9, so that's why it was slow. When iOS 10 was released, it was revealed the iPhone 4S would not support iOS 10 due to hardware limitations.

Most of the games don’t support the 4S anymore. But at least some do. Nice vibration motor. First phone to use Siri which is fascinating.

The 4S is a total gem. Beautifully made and gorgeous to handle, even just to look at - it highlights how mundane and plastic modern phones are. Mine continues to operate Facetime video and audio perfectly. As a bonus, the batteries are straightforwards to replace on the kitchen table.

Now i'm surfing a web or to see and writing status on facebook using safari on this iPhone 4S. Don't forget iMessage is still available to this iPhone and can still support and can use it. icloud is still working better but Apps Store is problem about iTunes account not complete and stuck in the agreement page when we are accept that agreement and force to cancel if waiting so long. But this Apple iPhone 4S is my main and lovely smartphone.

I still have the 4s still works fine but the volume button had problem with clicking and you can't create apple id on the 4s anymore because apple has cut it's support. Also don't expect this phone to download many apps because ios 9 is not supported now

To avoid misinformation the iphone 4 and the 4s runs 720p not 1080p because 960 pixel can't fit 1080p unless you have 1136 pixel like the iphone 5 then it most likely runs 1080p.

This is my very first and last iOS device (i hate the ecosystem). It still works but barely usable; 3G signal no longer supported by mobile service provider, most apps cannot be installed, storage is small, battery die easily, navigating with its pre installed apps is slow, hard to use the small screen. But i can say, the phone's design is really something.

this was the only iphone i have every used, and it was technically a hand-me-down from my aunt who was switching to an iphone 6 that i used for a short time until i got a new phone. and even back then (which was just 5 years ago) i remember the screen being really good. never would've thought that apple's retina displays would be that great. but unfortunately the ios 9 which this phone had made it terrible even for just trying to call someone

It was my first phone ever and will always be my favorite. I wish US cell carriers still supported 3G/2G signals so us legacy enthusiasts can use our favorite devices for much longer :(.
