you can jailbreak it and enable tethering or you can check your settings if mobile hotspot is configured or not

Before updating my phone's ios version into 6.1.2, I can still use the personal hotspot. But now that my phone run on IOS 6.1.2 version, personal hotspot is no longer working. please help:) Thanks in advance.

Please help. I cannot access the wifi button on my iphone 4s. Its greyed out. Apple wants to charge me $199 to have it fix. Its expensive and ridiculous. I will never buy apple again.

I have change for many cellphones. But now, i very dissapointed with my 4s. The problem is no signal. I try to restore but no effect. I try the repair shop, No one can repair . I'm verrrrrrryyyy confused and dissapointed for apple product. My 4s now cannot activated because it has restored. And stillllllll, NO SIGNALLLLLLLL.......

Anonymous, 24 May 2013the difference between iphone locked and unlcked is that, c... moreUpdating IOS 6.0.1 or 6.1.3, phone wont get unlocked. Either you need to do turbo unlock or factory unlock if it is sim locked. Some places facility is available, based on the carrier. In Turbo unlock, only for perticular IOS unlock will be done. After updating next IOS, phone will be locked to old carrier. Factory unlock phone can be upgraded any IOS, just like any other phone.

Wrong an unlocked iphone can use any sim card,,a locked iphone can only use carrier sim card its locked too..All iphone updates are applicable to any iphone provided its capable of running the o/s version, locked or unlocked,any country.
So iphone 3gs,4,4s run 6..1.3 but iphone 5 has 6.1.4 to fix speaker bug..If there is another update ALL iphones get updated worldwide ,locked or unlocked..Android on the other hand is a total mess.

If you buy unlocked mobile..easy maintenance.. You can easily update you OS.
If you buy locked..it's very hard maintenance..
You can't update OS easily...
