the battery life for people who use it for gaming ,surfing etc its quite not good.

Having previously owned a HTC SENSATION, I brought the iPhone 4S 64GB. It does not hold battery good at all needs charging every night with minimal daily use. I have changed the battery for a brand new replacement and the life is still poor.
I did jailbreak it too, and found a few problems whilst it was jail broken. 1) the home button was temperamental, 2) the phone would suddenly receive a lot of texts when home button was pressed. 3) it slowed down the phone and made it unresponsive at times. I would not RECOMMEND JAIL BREAKING the iPhone.
It is an expensive phone but retains value. Nearly everywhere has a apple charger - dock at hotels etc so no need to worry.
I hope this review is of some help to someone.

I've found that the iPhone 4S is still quite a viable phone with all the features of it's newer sibling, the iPhone 5. Sure the screen is a bit more cramped and the issues of the glass back breaking rather easily, when you think about it.
If you're really the kind of consumer who sticks with the iPhone and Apple devices, the 4S is an absolute bargain! It runs all of the apps that the iPhone 5 does but obviously not as quickly and it lacks LTE. On the bright side, Siri is just as useful and the 4S still has been getting the latest iOS updates and the number of apps can't be matched.
Despite how long the 4S has been on the market, games on it still look amazing even with better detail and effects than my Galaxy S3. The game I compared was N.O.V.A. 3. Right from the beginning of the game there are visual details on the iPhone 4S that are absent in the far more powerful Galaxy S3.
The 4S can be had for pretty darned cheap if you're signing a contract but if you're going into a term agreement, you may as well choose the iPhone 5, on the used market though or being handed down by a friend who upgraded, the iPhone 4S is still a contender.
