Its funny how a lot iPhone users slag off Samsung, but forgetting many parts (hardware) for the iPhone is made by Samsung.

Does anyone know if iphone 4s can be activated witout a sim card ???
the network carrier sent me the phone but it seams that they forgot to send me the sim (micro sim).

RAM is not a big deal on Iphone 4S because it doesn't support real multitasking. 512mb may seem insufficient but it's more than enough for ONE application running live at a time, even if it's a game with heavy graphics.

yo fellas i found the battery solution from a video....
here it goes......
go to Settings-Location Services-System Services(which is found in the bottom)-Turn OFF "setting time zone"
...................and yessssssssssssss there you go ,your battery bug will be fixed

Well have you ever seen a iPhone responding slow or getting stuck on the application ? That shows the RAM is perfectly sufficient for the phone. And answering both, regarding the hardware that supports the future updates and the gaming ( GPU ) of the iphone, let me iterate the legacy of iPhone. The game like "Avatar" which runs only on the latest android phones like Samsung galaxy S2 and HTC sensation etc, launched in year 2010, runs perfectly smooth, rather better, on the iPhone 2G, launched in 2007. That's the hardware efficiency of the iPhone.

What is the speed of the 4s' RAM? I think the concern also is about having a hardware that can take future updates and demanding apps.

Do you have any clue how much RAM is required for the optimum performance of he phone ? Play a game on 4S and you would know what wonders 512MB can do. Never in the lifetime of these android phones with this 1GB RAM, would be able to utilize more than 600 MB of RAM. Its not about how much they have, its about how much they really need :)

for those having problem with ios 5.0.1,try this.Did miracles for me(iphone 4)
1.firstly downgrade to ios 4.3.3 or 4.3.5 using shsh blobs, tiny umbrella,..etc
2.back up using the latest version of itunes(used itunes 10.5.2)
3.using windows 7,go to control panel and uninstal all software that has 'apple inc.' as the publisher.would recommend to finish with itunes and then restart the machine
4.Instal itunes now(used itunes 10.5.2)
5.with device on connect to the computer and UPDATE to ios 5.0.1
6.after the update, the device will ask if set up as new phone.....Choose restore from backup
7.In itunes right click your device icon and click on restore from backup
8.and viola the device should ok.
had tried instal ios 5.0.1 and I got hell.Network problems,battery issues,email problem etc
After i did the above my phone is working excellently
