just swithched to Iphone 5 2 days ago, been using android phones HTC desire hd, samsung galaxy s2, sony xperia ion, sony xperia z, and I must say this phone beats my xperia z. except that it's not water resistant and the camera not as good as xperia z. overall this is a great phone. not being fanboy here, I still loves android.

And not at all atleast mine has no heating at all using it sometimes straight for 3 hours and not any heating the heating people feel is the heat their body produces as the ip5 absorbs that heat. :)

samsung galaxy s4 is much more serious about new technology in terms of specs, and not like iphone 5 with just an A6 chip, with dual core integration, it is chipest tech nowadays...

The only way I can give battery response it to do a test.I play basic timewaster games like tetris.bejewelled and try and go for personnel best..I was thinking of doing this;
Screen on full brightness auto brightness off;
Bluetooth on
Wifi on.
3g on.
Twitter poll every 30 mins;
Email instant push x 2 accounts,
I will dismiss phone calls/calendar alerts/sms/mms etc
Then play the game non stop till battery is dead,i will ignore 20% and 10% warnings by dismissing them and carry on till phone switches off.
I will give results in next couple days.

i m thinking of buying iphone 5 32 gb only concerned regarding the battery life .. how it is will it last a day on moderate usage ... i have s3 and it drains even on standy .. my 3g data will be on the entire day..will the iphone battery last

You will need a PC to save your data, restore, recover, find bought and lost applications, and many other things. if u don't want PC involved go for android phones, u will get somewhat same features.

Bro, if you buy Iphone u need a PC to take backup or restore, I cloud can help to an extent but u will need a PC for Restoring or if you phone goes in recovery mode.
Maybe developed country or not we need more at least 2 SIM's for office and personal purpose.
Maybe people from a developed country can understand it.

iPhone is premium phone, so i think they target developed country.
Developing country people will buy cheap phones, and those that buy iPhone will not consider this issue at all.

Windows phone has s... moreyou dont seem to understand my comment, you were talking about gaming and power users, what has that got to do with my comment, i didnt compare nokia and apple, i said my own experience of frequent phone crashes which incidentally have all been nokia phones made me switch to apple iphone 5. no matter how good an operating system is it can never be realy safe as long as its open source, so it doesnt matter if its windows or androids. now for my opinion on windows nokia phone, i personally believe that nokia should have developed there own software rather than keying into windows os , i think it took away some of the nice features of nokia symbian instead of improving on it and made it to look more and more like ios without fully adopting ios, i chose iphone 5 over lumia 920 because i think windows operating system is just an imperfect mimick of ios and to worsen it , its open source. i know two of my bosses at work who had lumia 920 crash within 5months of buying it. i dont want to live in that world any longer, ill rather take alittle restriction and have my phone safe, and i bet you all this other big brands( samsung sony, htc) are still going to come around and be like apple, it has already started, with most big brands making phones with no replaceble battery, no micro sd slot , all copied from apple. finally i believe samsung s4, sony exp z, and htc one seems to be the better phone compared to iphone 5 interms of specs and features but it seems iphone 5 just works better than any other phone in the world in terms of usability, it has a very good combination of the hardware and software as if they are made for each other unlike most other phones and thats why i chose it.
