Why do people engage in so much banter regarding phones? Do you all get paid to do this or what? All phones are good depending on your taste, I am a BlackBerry loyalist but I don't have to hate Samsung or Apple, I use what I prefer. Specs are nice but if you are loyal to a product based on past experience specs are not much in an argument. Get on with life people, most are adults but this bruhaha is uncalled for.

Samsung is dependent on Google for software. Even if they want to, they can't fix a software problem! The debate will go on and on and on. But, in my opinion it's just better and more reliable to use the Apple product. And by the way, it is definitely a better product...all around. Samsung is good, but android is so mixed up with a lot of manufacturers, that you can choose any phone running on android...it will be the same. Difference in hardware is so little and it's running android......Apple is ONE PACKAGE!!!

Apps used to crash Browser was not useable because of flash. Went to customer care (samsung) response got was, its software issue so they can't entertain. I had to sell the phone. Since then shifted to apple ip4,4s,5. No hangs no crashes super smooth. First problem with lightening cable changed same day without any ????. This is what m talking about. That's what service is.

Inder, 28 Jan 2013got my lightening cable changed by apple care same day, hav... moreI've had a lot of Samsungs & Nokias over the years and only had to use Nokia service once for warranty repair and so far no need to with Samsung, So what reason would someone pay so much extra to run an iPhone when they apparently so reliable?

got my lightening cable changed by apple care same day, have never had any service issues with apple. They have the best after sales service. Have had many phones in past Samsung galaxy HTC Tytn 2 HTC HD Nokia communicator etc. but no company gives service like apple. If u buy any apple product you get 100% after sales service. I don't mind paying extra for apple products because of their after sales response. And they also give wonderful option of apple care plans after ur 1 yr warranty is finished.

The korean company samsung has been sued many times by apple inc. for copying many features from iphone. So any ways samsung should not be compared with iphone.

Hi ...apple is the best comp ever. I have been using
android phones for the
past 2 yrs and an S3 user
for the past 3 months.
Bought the iPhone 5
couple of days back. The
first that struck me was
this is beautiful , both the
hardware and the os. My
S3 has a lot more features
and it got updated to jelly
bean yesterday. I have
never felt the need the
most of them ( at least for
a business user like me )
the only thing that caught
my attention is the smart
stay but the irony is you
have to help the device to
stay smart most of the
time by holding the phone
close to you or stand
against a bright source of
light. With all the power of
quad core , the S3 still
hangs and stops for a
second or so while opening
an app or a picture after
the jelly bean update. All
this happens for everyday
use and not while gaming.
Finally I have started to
understand iOS and its
simplicity. It works flawless
and is pleasing to look at.
It comes at a high price
tag but I guess it's worth it.
My only worry is the home
key as you are dependent
on it everything you exit to
home screen and I hope it
lasts for a long time.

well, i don't understand about you guys. its clear that the android's are much more user friendly that any iphone version. everyone knows it since like what? 4 years ago?
apple is not selling specs, apple is selling design and idea. You gotta give them that. Owning an iphone is something. i've had my hands on iphone 3g and its still butter smooth till today. The only reason i won't be using it is because i can't use a simple bluetooth transfer function without modifying it LOL.
on the other hand androids are easy to customize and reliable. Doesn't make it fast, compared to IOS 4, the latest android still lags with all the specs, 4 cores, 1gb ram etc.. you name it.. had my hands on S3 and note 2 its not nice and boring. Design is crappy and doesn't feel good on my palm not to mention it's ultimate lag-ness with all the cores LOL.
moral of the story is, design matters in a phone and iphone 5 delivers it. its more like a feel good professional phone rather for the IT junkies.
i'm personally using an android because i have no choice. i need the msd card, bluetooth and easy file transfer. But Iphones have WAY better design and they feel WAY better on hands over any android device.
Androids beats Iphones on customization on any given day. Not to mention the cyanogen mod, aokp, miui roms which are handy in many many ways.
Just choose what you need and buy any phone. They all are good. If you have that extra money, buy an iphone and an android. you wont regret either way. why this argument?

iPhone 5 is a very strange released device. It got me thinking.. battery remain virtually unchanged.. how is it to power a 4inch device with LTE and yet have similar or better battery then the 4S/4?
It is clocked at 1.3ghz.. Much faster then any previous version iphones, how did it manage better or similar battery life as the previous A5/A4 chip??
A6 is running on Cortex-A15 vs a Cortex-A9 chip. Which by right should consume more battery then A5.
Cut long story short, A6 is a highly configured version of C-A15.. which allows twice improvement @ lower battery usage. Most noob geeks do not see this.. and thus miss it..
There is alot of optimizations and efficiency going on with apple products, most of which is silent and unsung achievements.

I have both too. But my s3 started to lag as I started to add more apps. It seems like runs like a f in computer. The more programs, the slower it gets.
I have 64 gb ip5. I have 2gb's left of space. Guess what.
No lag.
I sold my s3.
