I did it with my iphone 4s and disabled things that I'm not using as well, and my usage on battery increased from avg 16% to 18% per hour to 10% to 12% per hour. It's worth trying.

I've been using iphone 5 since about a week now..so far i love how this phone works except the battery life is extremely poor..need to charge my phone 3-4 times in one day..kinda pissed me off sometimes..

Anyone claiming SGS3 battery is good here is simply outdated. It has been discussed to death I forums, so many tests done, not just iPhone 5, iPhone 4S also destroys SGS performance lol. The delusion is still strong in Samsung camp.

[deleted post]Stop to be impressed by paperwork and words and specs. I'm using iphone and galaxy phones...s3 and note 2. The proof in the pudding is the eating. Go away and leave iphone fans alone...we don't need u. If you are not happy, remember we can decide for ourselves. You are missinformed and brainwashed by specs....use and decide! You are one of those guys that will say: look at the specs of my phone! It makes you feel important if you can brag on paperwork! And you won't even be able to operate and use it to the maximum! I use both, samsung and apple....iphone is in a class of it's own....get lost!!

SGN 2 is used by my dad, but I have used SGN many times for surfing and checking up different apps. And let me tell u that SGN's battery is a tank, I guess as u have it u may have an idea. I bought iPhone 5 only because I had invested a lot in apple ecosystem (iPad, mac). I have used 4 & 4s both. The only diff in 4s and five is screen and also it's light. Speed in not a much diff in 4s and 5. I was badly waiting for next gen android 1080p screens and BB10 but couldn't wait longer. And I think in 3-4 months when these will be out iph5 will be kinda old thing. If battery is a concerned then its nothing in front of sgn2 & and screen ( only drawback SGN has is the green tone in browser ). Apps always better in apple, and as far status is concerned apple does performs in that field also. Everybody notices it. So only if u are heavily invested in apple apps or concerned about status symbol then only go for iph5 otherwise SGN 2 performs many tasks easily.

I have galaxy s3 and iphone 4s, and the 4s battery is doing better than gs3. Samsung way of not switching off apps like iphone, plays a role. Gs3 battery is 2,1 and iphone 4s only 1,4.....and still iphone beats the gs3 battery in my case.

before i got mine and i've been using it for a week now, i read a lot of negative comments about it. but anyway,its really a good thing to own!about battery life, personally, it's been great!!!

Has anyone had any issues with the sound on the i phone. I always have the sound on but when people ring or text it only vibrates but the ringing volume is on. I also cant listen to music on my i phone unless I have the headphones on. Anyone got any ideas what I can do? I've tried turning the phone off and on.
