In any case, you can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings which should solve any networking issues if any.

for long terms, is better to buy iPhone 5, but the iPhone 4s is definitely more well build, i just got 4s and i am in love

If you have the money then go for iPhone 5 because as comparing it with iPhone 4S it has more better features and specifications let give you some brief examples it has 1gb ram double than iphone 4S 512mb ram its night mode camera result is more better than 4S and screen ppi(Pixil per inch density) is more than 4S it is even more slimmer than 4S
and even more faster web experience than 4S and Samsung galaxy S3

Please I never use an iphone before but now I want to give it a try......... But am confused between iphone-4s nd iphone-5..... I have the money to buy any of the two.. I've done it with my iphone 4s and my galaxy s3 and got an improvement on both from 4 to 5 hours usage to 9 to 10 hours usage. It's worth reading that.
