I have the galaxy note 2 and the iphone 5 and im not biased to any OS like many of you are but I gotta say that the Note 2 is better for watching videos and surfing the web because of the larger screen but the iphone runs smoother and it is much better in gaming. My note 2 lags a little bit in games which has alot of grphics but overall both are great phones

Me and my family use both phones and also Nokia...and we get along nicely...no bashing or degrading...just enjoying the choices we made...That's all I'm saying. Use, decide and make your choice. Other people do have the same prerogative...I think ALL phones serve their purpose for the person who chose it.

[deleted post]Well.. if you want to talk about jailbreak or root. Then both are equality capable in terms of features and functionality.
But the point i make is still there, the phone can still send sms/call without you rooting your android.
So thats my point.. no i am not envious of what android can do as a user point of view. However i am envious when i am a developer :)

As soon as you click on their ads , you get malwares. It's the same with jail broken iphones that exposes your device to security flaws.

apps can send sms without ur knowledge..
apps can make call without ur knowledge..
for developers they are given so much power.. they can practically take over your phone if they want. So much more after you root..
Its like asking a robot to drive your car, without you knowing.. you feel safe??

And it's designed for only one device- the iphone. But no matter how simple it is, still it is deprived of features. On the other hand, Android is considered the most sophisticated UI because it can be adapted to different brands of different screen sizes. But no matter how sophisticated it is, it still works flawlessly and buttery smooth, without compromise on power and speed.

I can safely say there's a lot of Apple haters reading GSMArena.
It's a good phone. It shouldn't get 5 out of 10. Credit where credit is due, gentlemen.
