I had an iPhone 3GS for 2 years then got a 4S, wasn't that bad but having to jailbreak to be able to slightly customize the OS/UI was anything but a great user experience. And the hardware lacked the power to do gaming/HD video/Flash or decent webbrowsing. The only thing that had speed comparable to a high end android phone was the UI speed when nothing was running in the background. I have switched to an ATT Samsung Captivate Glide (Galaxy S2 Variant with physical keyboard) with a Tegra 2 processor/GPU Overclocked to 410 MHz for gaming/CPU overclocked to 1400MHz/Great battery life/1 GB Ram and Rom (Was only $120 off contract and unlockable with an app in the Google Play Store for free). I had an iPhone but after switching to Android I will never switch back.

P.S: Not bashing anything or anyone, Just an old iPhone user sharing my experience is all.

[deleted post]I buy iphone for the user experience.. I do not need flashy ui to make call.. Surf the internet or listen to music. What i need is a phone that delivers what i want when i want without bugs and under my control.

Used s3 before, was a good device .. However i found no way to control the apps .. And random battery drain..

Infact each person has his own choice of phone, so please use this site to write the positive and negative things you see in your phone, so others too can learn something new and share something!! This is not a place to insult and condemn each other!! Its sad that GSM Arena reviews are mostly by uneducated and the common blue collar worked!! This place is for decent people and not hooligans!

I'm overly satisfied with my white iphone 5 which i purchased last dec 23, im here in the philippines. smooth menu, blazing fast intrnet connction(even not 4g LTE yet) via 3g. looks good, and feel good too holding in my hands. the only problem i have is the battery life, using 3g and data services ON, it only lasts for max of 6 hours and it heats too much....:( do you feel the same on your phone???

Android fans are the fans of Android just because of more free apps.Which freedom?Operation systems are not governments to say freedom or anything else?Forget these junk words.Just iOS because it's faster than Android. You know my Android phone has a problem in receiving SMS but there isn't any problems like this in iOS.Is something more than SMS and calling in phones that my Android phone has problem in SMS?Android is really bad.

Anonymous, 30 Dec 2012If your iPad is using 30 pin connector, yes it can be used ... moreYou can use it in case of emergency, but better avoid it. Good thing is it will recharge an iPhone in less then an hour. The bad thing is it will badly affect your phone's battery. There are reported cases of severe battery damages, and in the best case it will significantly reduce your iPhone's battery life. iPad charger is 5x "stronger" and there is reason for that.
My advice is not to use it unless there is no other option, and if you do, don't make it a habit! Or else... Be prepared to screw up your (user non replaceable) battery.
